Dazzling new holiday décor, candy cane pool floats, wintery poolside treats, Dive-in Movies and more seasonal fun in the sun awaits
For those looking to make their visit extra magical during the holiday season, look no further, as Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort shares a list of top ways to celebrate the season. The AAA Five Diamond rated resort, ranked the #1 Best Resort in Walt Disney World for 11 years in a row, boasts its own 5-acre (2 hectare) waterpark, a spacious Spa, plus six dining options including Michelin-starred Capa Steakhouse.
1. Float along the Resort’s heated Drifters Lazy River on a peppermint-stripe red or green tube or a candy cane float while gently drifting downstream. Swimsuit required, Santa hats optional (but encouraged!). Order a festive Lava Flow cocktail with candy cane stir stick or zero-proof beverage and get into the spirit, as holiday tunes play on the sound system.
2. Play some reindeer games with the Kids For All Seasons team and have fun making fireside peppermint or traditional s’mores. Resort guests can take part in the complimentary supervised children’s activities, offered daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm for kids ages 4-12. This season, the Kids For All Seasons team is serving up poolside fun with a hot cocoa bar offered select dates at the Explorer Pool, holiday movies and trivia, glow golf on the spa lawn, gingerbread house decorating, pickleball lessons, cookie decorating and more. Holiday Dive-In Movies are offered throughout the month of December, including The Grinch, The Polar Express, and Elf.
3. Strike a pose alongside the Resort’s larger-than-life nutcrackers in the main lobby, complete with a beautiful green garland and gold and silver ornament archway surrounding the Resort’s signature sparkling grand entry chandelier. Walk down the gorgeous Palm Pathway, where the palm trees wrapped in sparkling white lights make the perfect photo backdrop, and dazzling orb lights hang delicately aglow on the crepe myrtles.
4. Take a moment of calm and experience a break from the holiday hustle and bustle at the Resort’s incredible Spa. With 18 treatment rooms, indoor and outdoor Tranquility Lounges plus a post-treatment Solarium room, The Spa has several holiday theme treatments to indulge in. Enjoy the Holiday Harvest Facial, a 50-minute treatment designed to resurface and rejuvenate skin with precise combinations of two professional treatment masks, complemented by serums and creams expertly selected to address one’s specific skin concerns. At The Salon, unwind with Merry Manis and Mistle-Toes nail treatments, the Holiday Glow Pedicure, and a holiday hair appointment with the Salon’s International Creative Director and Master Stylist Alejandra Bell.
5. Reserve a table for the Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea offered on weekends at Ravello through December 21, 2025. The afternoon tea includes savoury tea sandwiches and sweet treats made by Executive Pastry Chef Rabii Saber and his team, plus one glass of sparkling wine. Enjoy the cosy ambiance of Ravello, made even more festive with entertainment by carollers or a violinist playing holiday favourites. Sip on a tea of the season, including Chocolate Peppermint, Sugar Plum Fairy, Gingerbread Cookie, or Apple Pie. Children receive a whimsical menu featuring Santa’s Favourite Sandwiches and sweets inspired by Mrs. Claus herself.
6. Shop for the perfect gift (or treat oneself!) at Wardrobe and Fable boutiques, where shoppers can discover delightful finds from designer brands to bespoke, one-of-a-kind pieces. Open daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Wardrobe has extended hours on Friday and Saturday evenings until 9:00 pm. Additional non-coffee drinks are also available, such as the decadent Hot Cocoa Milkshake or the Santa’s Helper Eggnog Martini. Try Jay’s Jolly Christmas Spritz, created by Lickety Split barista Jay Troy. While at Lickety Split, don’t miss Chef Saber’s amazing special holiday desserts - miniature works of art. Try the Christmas Macaron, Christmas Yule Log, Chocolate Ornament, Tart Mont Blanc, Santa Hat Mousse, and Holiday-Inspired Cupcakes.
8. Have a glam night out with dinner at Michelin star-rated Capa Steakhouse, helmed by Chef Chris Edwards. Perched on the Resort’s 17th floor rooftop, with a striking view of the nightly Walt Disney World Resort fireworks, Capa has many gourmet favourites on the menu to ensure a sparkling celebration. With a multitude of Champagnes and wines, a wagyu flight, Porterhouse for two, fresh seafood and much more, Capa is always a special experience. Chef Saber’s desserts, including a rich and creamy Basque Vanilla Cheesecake with Warm Chocolate Hazelnut Ganache recently added to the Capa menu, make the evening end on a sweet note. On New Year’s Eve, in addition to Capa, overnight guests of the Resort can opt to enjoy a gala evening in the Resort’s Grand Ballroom, complete with a raw bar, antipasti appetizer buffet, plated multi-course dinner and live entertainment.
