Four Seasons Hotel Osaka Awarded One Michelin Key for Second Consecutive Year
Four Seasons Hotel Osaka has retained one Michelin Key in the 2026 Michelin Guide hotel selection, earning continued recognition for its exceptional design, highly personalised service, and unique guest experiences.
Introduced as a counterpart to Michelin Stars, the Michelin Key distinction is awarded to the world’s most outstanding hotels, based on independent evaluations across criteria such as architecture and design, character and personality, consistency of service, value, and connection to surroundings. One Michelin Key represents “a very special stay”, with a distinctive personality and experiences that go beyond the expected.
“We are deeply honoured to receive one Michelin Key for the second consecutive year. Since our opening in 2024, we have been truly grateful for the support of our guests, colleagues, and partners,” says Gianni Costa, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Osaka. “This recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of our entire team. Through their care and craftsmanship, our hotel shares Osaka’s vibrant heritage while also reflecting its bold modern spirit, creating unforgettable moments for our guests.”
Rising above the storied Dojima district, Four Seasons Hotel Osaka unveils a fresh expression of timeless traditions. At GENSUI, the modern ryokan floor, tatami rooms and suites reinterpret the traditional Japanese inn through contemporary design, intuitive service, and sweeping views of the city skyline – alongside daily culinary and craft rituals at the exclusive SABO Lounge. As the first modern ryokan experience in Osaka, GENSUI provides a uniquely mindful and immersive way to experience the city.
Inventive concepts lead the hotel’s versatile dining program. Haute French cuisine meets traditional Edomae sushi at Sushi L’Abysse Osaka Yannick Alléno; authentic Cantonese recipes shine with a contemporary touch at Jiang Nan Chun; and botanicals become the building blocks of cocktails at Bar Bota. Jardin, the all-day bistro, presents French favourites and afternoon tea in a garden-inspired setting, while Farine bakery invites guests to slow down over light bites and artisanal pastries.
Offering a sanctuary of calm high above the city’s colourful energy, The spa and wellness facilities unfold across the entire 36th floor, moving from sky-high treatments and therapies to a panoramic indoor swimming pool and locally inspired bathing rituals at the Ofuro (Japanese baths).
With each accolade, Four Seasons Hotel Osaka renews its commitment to celebrating the richly diverse spirit of Osaka through memorable experiences shaped by genuine hospitality, meticulous craftsmanship, and a spirit of continual discovery.
