With the new Best Friend’s Paradise program, guests and their dogs can participate in activities together including yoga classes, and standup paddle boarding and surfing lessons in the Bay of Banderas. Four-legged friends can also enjoy treats and meals from the new in-room pet dining menu and pet concierge services such as on-demand walking and grooming.

“We are delighted to welcome our four-legged friends to paradise with an exciting pet program that offers a mix of convenience and pleasure for guests who love to travel with their pets,” says John O’Sullivan, General Manager, Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita. “With our new pet program, even dogs can experience the best of Punta Mita, from surfing and fresh tacos to indulgent pedicures and relaxing siestas.”

Prior to arrival, a dedicated pet concierge will ensure that accommodations for furry guests are taken care of. Dogs will receive a welcome kit with a water bowl, treats, toys and a pet bed to provide a blissful night’s sleep. Additional pet amenities include doggy beach cabanas and pet pools for relaxation, and services such as pet walking and pet sitting are available for an additional fee. Guests can treat their pets to culinary delights from the made-to-order in-room pet dining menu, which features treats such as a peanut cupcake and whole wheat pumpkin cookie; hearty meals such as a 4 oz. gourmet tenderloin and seared angus meatloaf with steamed asparagus; lighter fare such as fresh catch of the day tacos; and for the vegetarian pup, doggy fried rice made with peas, carrots and broccoli.

The pampering continues for guests and their furry companions with private yoga lessons for stress reduction and increased flexibility; services also include pedicures for posh pets. More adventurous pets can take advantage of the Resort’s beachfront location with water activities including “Paws Up” standup paddle boarding and surfing instruction led by the on-property surf outfitter TropicSurf.
