Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita Debuts Exclusive Private Label Tequila in Collaboration with Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia

In celebration of Mexican craftsmanship, Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, the award-winning oceanfront resort along the coast of Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit, announces its own exclusive private-label tequila in collaboration with Reserva de la Familia, the ultra-premium line from Jose Cuervo.  Once reserved solely for the Cuervo family and their closest friends, this bespoke añejo blend brings a piece of their legacy to Punta Mita, offering guests an extraordinary taste of Mexican tradition and craftsmanship.

Produced at La Rojeña, the oldest active distillery in Latin America, this singular blend is made from 100 percent organic Blue Weber agave, slow-cooked in traditional masonry ovens, and fermented with spring water sourced from the volcano in Tequila, Jalisco.  Double-distilled in copper stills for exceptional purity, the tequila is then aged for nearly three years in rare Colombian oak barrels - an unprecedented choice in tequila production that brings deep complexity and nuance to the final spirit.

This custom blend delivers a rich and velvety profile with layered aromas of cocoa, caramelized banana, chai, cinnamon, and warm spices. Notes of dried fruit and honey unfold into a long, smooth finish with lingering warmth. Each bottle is a testament to artisanal craftsmanship - hand-assembled, hand-labeled, numbered, and wax-sealed - ensuring its ultra-premium exclusivity. Drawn from just four custom casks, each yielding 312 bottles, this limited-edition blend results in a total of only 1,248 bottles. This singular production run will not be repeated, further underscoring the rarity and collectability of this one-of-a-kind release.

The tequila is available neat or in curated cocktails across all food and beverage outlets on property, including the newly reinvigorated signature restaurant, Aramara. In addition, the bottles will be available for purchase at Hakari, the resort’s boutique, which will also offer exclusive tastings to introduce guests to the tequila’s story, process, and exceptional character.
