A refreshed dining concept introduces new signature dishes and evening service overlooking the Indian Ocean

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island introduces La Riva, a refreshed Italian dining experience located at the heart of the Castaway Centre. Inspired by the relaxed charm of the Italian Riviera, La Riva celebrates handcrafted Italian cuisine with fresh island ingredients, inviting guests to linger over leisurely lunches and newly introduced dinners overlooking the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.

With an expanded dining concept, La Riva now welcomes guests for lunch from Sunday to Friday, 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm, and for dinner on Thursday and Saturday from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm, offering an inviting setting from sun-filled afternoons through to warm tropical evenings.

"Many of our herbs, vegetables and seasonal ingredients are harvested from our island farm, allowing us to create vibrant dishes that showcase freshness, craftsmanship and the unique flavours of our destination."

Guests can begin their dining experience with signature antipasti including Tartare di Tonno, featuring fresh tuna, onion, preserved lemon, avocado mousse, lemon aioli and salmon roe, or the vibrant Insalata La Riva, a refreshing combination of mixed lettuce, sundried tomatoes, pomegranate seeds, artichokes, olives and lemon dressing.

Freshly prepared pasta remains at the heart of the menu, complemented by new signature dinner dishes including Crab Pappardelle, celebrating the sweetness of fresh crab in a rich, comforting pasta, alongside Orzo ai Frutti di Mare La Riva, combining scallops, shrimp, locally caught squid, tomato, butter and Parmesan for a seafood dish inspired by the Mediterranean coast.

La Riva also continues to serve its handcrafted sourdough pizzas, prepared with carefully selected ingredients and baked to perfection, alongside Italian-inspired sandwiches, seasonal desserts and house-made gelato that capture the spirit of relaxed coastal dining.

To accompany the menu, guests can enjoy a curated selection of signature cocktails including the Old Sicilian, Isola di Desroches, Pesto Martini and Dolce Vita, each crafted to reflect the vibrant flavours and relaxed elegance of the Italian Riviera with a distinctive island twist.
