Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, recently named one of the Best New Hotels of 2024 by AFAR Magazine, celebrates  the introduction of new direct flights from Atlanta, Georgia and Los Angeles, California to this region of Mexico. Perfectly timed for holiday travel, those eager to experience the unparalleled luxury and natural beauty of Tamarindo can begin to plan an escape with greater convenience.

Delta Airlines and Aeromexico will now operate a new direct route weekly from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to Manzanillo-Costalegre International Airport (ZLO) beginning November 2 through April 27, 2025, providing seamless access to this pristine corner of Mexico.

Introducing a more comfortable journey to Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, this direct flight will drastically reduce travel time by upwards of eight hours for guests depending on the city of origin.  Bypassing layovers in Mexico City, it also eliminates the need for additional stops and streamlines the customs process upon arrival in Manzanillo. Serving as the ideal gateway flight for travellers from major East Coast, Midwest, and Southern cities including New York City, Boston, Baltimore, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Chicago, Minneapolis, Columbus, Detroit, and Miami, guests can now depart later and effortlessly connect to onward flights, enhancing travel convenience to this remotely close destination.

A second direct flight, operating weekly on Saturdays from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Manzanillo-Costalegre International Airport (ZLO), will commence on December 21, 2024. This new year-round service enhances travel options for West Coast passengers, offering greater connectivity for guests coming from San Francisco, San Jose, and Las Vegas as well.

"We are thrilled to have enhanced accessibility to Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo with the introduction of new direct flights from Atlanta and Los Angeles thanks to the Delta-Aeromexico partnership," says Felix Murillo, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo. "With a trending 60 percent increase in international flights landing at Manzanillo-Costalegre International Airport, these new direct routes not only further reduce travel time but also underscore our shared regional commitment to providing exceptional experiences from the moment our guests begin their journey, to when they land and are whisked away on the final 30-minute drive to our front gates."

Tickets for both flights are now available for booking, allowing travellers to confidently secure preferred travel dates. Reservations can be made through both the Delta and Aeromexico websites. Alternatively, travellers may contact their travel agents or the dedicated team of Tamarindo Travel Experts directly to confirm seat availability.
