Summer Delights at Four Seasons Hotel Tianjin
A cool taste of the season awaits above the city

As the season shifts, head to the outdoor terrace of Four Seasons Hotel Tianjin and enjoy refreshing cocktails or dive into the pool, where the cool water banishes drowsiness. This is how summer should begin—easy, breezy, and flavourful.
Garden Terrace
As the breeze softens and the city glows at dusk, Aria on 9, the hotel's outdoor terrace bar, becomes a perfect perch above the city. By day, it's a calm, leafy retreat—fresh and inviting. As night falls, it transforms into a stylish, open-air stage. Lights ripple across the pool, bar, and glassware, blending with music to set the tone for a sparkling summer night.
At Aria on 9, Head Bartender Talor crafts cocktails that capture the city's rhythm. Drawing on seasonal ingredients and local favourites, his creations are more than drinks—they're liquid memories of Tianjin. "It’s not just mixed cocktails," he shares. "I want each sip to reveal a little of this city's character." One standout blends a classic Negroni with Tianjin's signature Haihe coffee milk. "It's like the setup and punchline of a good crosstalk skit. At first taste, it offers smooth milkiness, but upon deeper sipping, an unexpectedly bold flavour emerges."
Cocktail Highlights
- Liquid Candied Hawthorn—This playful gin-based drink begins with a juniper and a subtle hint of smoke. On the palate, raspberry and hawthorn burst with tartness. Take a bite of crisp hawthorn candy alongside, and a gentle wave of sweet and sour lingers with every sip.
- Begonia Dream – A visual stunner made with gin steeped in butterfly pea flower. Add lemon, and it turns a dreamy violet. Bright citrus notes from grapefruit and yellow lemon bring a superb, refreshing start, followed by delicate rose—like stepping into a moonlit summer garden.
Aria on 9 is open daily from 6:00 pm to 12:00 midnight, serving classic and creative cocktails, whiskies, and a selection of red and white wines. The food menu, crafted by the hotel's Executive Chef, offers flavourful pairings such as grilled baby lobster with wagyu beef sliders, white wine-braised French mussels, and Spanish garlic shrimp—delivering a perfect mix of taste and atmosphere for summer evenings in Tianjin.
101 Days of Summer
Spend a sunlit afternoon at LA SALA and dive into a fruity summer daydream. Executive Pastry Chef Wendy Wang transforms seasonal fruits into colourful, playful desserts paired with chilled fruit teas and warm scones for a refreshing treat. "I love working with bright flavours and crisp acidity," she shares. "It brings chocolate to life in a fresh, fun way and full of summer energy."
