Within just five years, she was promoted to sous chef, taking on the responsibility of overseeing the bakery's daily operations. During her time as the pastry chef at JW Marriott Hotel Beijing, Wendy not only conceptualized but also executed collaborative afternoon tea events such as the Flowers in the Wild art exhibition and co-branded offerings with Hong Kong VEENA Jewelry. These initiatives earned her team the prestigious The Best BANG! Awards "Cross-boundary Afternoon Tea of the Year." Additionally, she played a key role in developing collaborative afternoon teas between The Ritz-Carlton Beijing and renowned luxury brands like Givenchy and Montblanc.
