Four Seasons Hotel Toronto Takes the Spotlight as 2024 Toronto International Film Festival Official Partner
Four Seasons Hotel Toronto announces its partnership with the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) presented by Rogers, transforming the luxurious venue into a hub of cinematic glamour and excitement throughout the festival. This year the flagship property will once again serve as a key location for attendees, hosting a series of highly-anticipated events, making it the place to see and be seen during one of the world’s most renowned film festivals.
"We are honoured to be a central part of TIFF’s 49th edition, offering an unforgettable luxury experience for those in town for the occasion," says Patrick Pollak, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Toronto. "This year’s festivities promise to be extraordinary, and we look forward to celebrating the art of cinema with our guests and the global film community as an official hospitality partner."
Beginning Tuesday, September 3, Rogers and TIFF in collaboration with Four Seasons Hotel Toronto will host a VIP kick-off event at d|bar by Chef Daniel Boulud, and will mark the start of the festival with a ceremonial rolling out of the red carpet for the first time as an official TIFF event. This year’s celebration will also unveil the property’s annual lobby photo exhibit, featuring a curated selection of celebrity portraits by renowned photographer duo Saty Namvar and Pratha Samyrajah.
Award-winning Chef Daniel Boulud will return to Toronto on Wednesday, September 4, to host a dinner at Café Boulud alongside Executive Chef William Kresky, featuring a memorable four-course prix fixe menu in honour of the city’s most anticipated festival.
On Saturday, September 7, the Road to the Golden Globes party will begin the official countdown to the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards, which will take place 120 days later. This iconic event is being held in partnership with Four Seasons Hotel Toronto and luxury-lifestyle magazine Robb Report.
The evening of Sunday, September 8, Vanity Fair and Netflix will hold an invite-only event to toast the Canadian premiere of Emilia Pérez and the international premiere of The Piano Lesson at d|bar.
Throughout the festival, d|bar will continue to be the life of the party featuring live music performances and entertainment in the lounge. Guests can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere while sipping on elevated film-themed cocktails crafted by the bar’s expert mixologists. One of this year’s signature sips, artfully named The Critic, features truffle-infused vodka topped with mouthwatering caviar-stuffed olives.
The Spa at Four Seasons Toronto will also offer celebrity-worthy services throughout the festival, available for a limited time from September 5 to 15, allowing guests to unwind and rejuvenate between screenings and events. These coveted treatments include the bespoke Red-Carpet Glam Facial and luxurious Golden Diva Manicure, inspired by the glamour of the film festival.
“Four Seasons Hotel Toronto has always been at the heart of TIFF and we are proud to be a key partner of the festival, continuing our tradition of providing a luxurious setting and exceptional hospitality for the celebration of world-class cinema,” says Shahid Khan, Owner of Four Seasons Hotel Toronto.
