Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC announces its month-long celebration of World Kindness Day throughout November 2023. With a heartwarming lineup of events and initiatives, the Hotel is dedicated to spreading warmth and kindness, encouraging individuals and communities to come together and create a positive impact.

Georgetown Wine & Dine

A culinary showcase on November 2 and 3, 2023 benefitted cancer research at the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Sibley Memorial Hospital. The second annual Georgetown Wine & Dine featured two full days of culinary festivities, including tastings, masterclasses, and a chefs dinner crafted by Michelin-starred chefs and James Beard Award winners, as well as elevated decor elements by renowned event planner Marcy Blum.

Napkin Network Mommy and Me Tea

Support local moms in need with a special “Mommy and Me Tea” at Seasons benefitting The Napkin Network – a local charity that gives diapers and baby essentials to moms in need in the DMV. The elegant affair will include a three-tier afternoon tea service from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm on Saturday, November 11, 2023.

Four Seasons Loves DC First Responders

As a token of gratitude to DC’s First Responders, who work daily to protect and serve the local community, the Hotel is hosting a complimentary gourmet Thanksgiving feast, to eat in or take out from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on November 23, 2023. The feast will be prepared by talented Four Seasons chefs and served up by passionate staff and community volunteers.

Light Up the Season

Celebrate meaningful connections with community, family and friends with heartfelt holiday programming supporting the Children’s National Hospital to bring light and joy to the children and their families who need it the most. Decorations, inspired by Children’s National patients and created by renowned designer Tom Kehoe, will adorn the lobby from November 28 to throughout the 2023 festive season.

With Love, From DC Postcards

To further accentuate the acts of kindness, the Hotel will install a postcard station in the lobby on November 13, 2023 and encourage guests to send messages of genuine warmth and kindness to their loved ones. Transcending the words written on them, the postcards are adorned with heartfelt sentiments evoking nostalgia and a yearning to say, “I’m thinking of you.” These postcards will be embellished with design and language that evoke a sense of belonging for guests and their loved ones. To complement this, guests will be offered a cozy hot chocolate.
