Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler announces the addition of Caitlin Hubbard as Spa Director. Hubbard joins The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Whistler with more than six years of experience in the spa and wellness industry, including expertise in therapeutic recreation. She will lead the Resort’s Spa team, overseeing day-to-day operations, evolving the spa menu and creating new, inventive treatments that ensure The Spa continues to exceed at offering the most memorable experiences.

Recently awarded the #1 Hotel Spa in Canada by Travel + Leisure‘s World’s Best Awards, the full-service Spa at Four Seasons Resort Whistler provides an expansive menu featuring holistic treatments; locally-inspired, signature therapies and body rituals; and unique experiences including kid-friendly spa treatments and the Mountain Men Bar.  Known for offering world class facilities and an unparalleled guest experience, The Spa features 11 treatment rooms, two couples’ suites, two Zen relaxation lounges, eucalyptus steam rooms, and a Vichy shower room as well as a state-of-the-art, 6,960 square foot (647 square metre) fitness centre.

Hubbard comes to the resort following a Spa Manager position at Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara, where she managed all of the Resort’s Spa operations. Prior to that, she was a Spa Supervisor at Four Seasons Hotel Denver, where she created an ambiance and spa treatment menu that promoted health and well-being. She also held a spa management position at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas.

Caitlin studied at the University of Colorado Boulder where she discovered her love for the mountains and wellness. She taught and organized courses and excursions for people with developmental and physical disabilities with a goal of overall well-being.  Hubbard’s passion for wellness eventually led her to pursue opportunities in the spa industry, laying the foundation for her career. At Four Seasons Resort Whistler, Caitlin’s expertise will lend itself well to The Spa’s original offerings and innovative treatments that incorporate regional botanicals, high-altitude therapies and the latest in alterative wellness rituals.

“Caitlin brings to the resort an expertise and sincere passion for the spa and wellness industry, with a strong record of success throughout her career,” saiys Peter Humig, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler. “We are excited to welcome Caitlin to our team.”
