Marry Me? Australia's Most Romantic Marriage Proposals

Love is in the air at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, where Chef Concierge Jorge Sousa has noticed a rise in the number of marriage proposals happening at the Hotel.

Jorge explains, “We have arranged some of the most beautiful proposals around Sydney. Some like to do it simply – they walk down to the Opera House and bend down on one knee in front of the most beautiful harbour in the world. For others, we have arranged more elaborate affairs – from private helicopter rides around Sydney Harbour to an intimate dinner for two in the Presidential Suite of the Hotel or a Chef’s Dinner aboard a luxury yacht. We’ve even helped one particular groom with his idea of getting a window-washer to scale the building with a sign asking the question. He was in his room with his to-be fiancée when he turned her around to see the sign outside their 33rd floor window.”

The proposal Sousa loves best? “A very simple 'Marry Me' on the bed, spelled out in Kit Kat bars.”
