The renovations are being carried out by renowned hotel designers Richmond International, the same company who first crafted the interiors for the opening of Four Seasons Hotel Amman more than 16 years ago. Each room and suite will be modernised and provide guests with all the comforts of advanced in-room technology. The interiors feature clean lines and a mix of textures designed to evoke the Jordanian locality, while large windows offer panoramic views of the city and flood the spaces with natural light.

Taking cues from the surrounding landscape, the rooms are filled with pale grey and sandy tones, offset with soft green accents. The colour scheme of the suites is slightly warmer, with the same neutral sand colour complemented by rusty oranges, reds, golds, and greens, bringing the spirit of the desert and city to life. All suites feature a selection of bespoke furniture as well as ready-made pieces, while the guest rooms encompass an entirely tailor-made collection of furniture designs.

“Within the Middle East, Jordan is considered a vibrant destination that presents an intriguing mix of old and new; it was this combination of local heritage and today’s multicultural society that informed our design concept. We employed vibrant colours throughout the interiors to reflect the energy of the city itself, and worked with local artisans for bespoke elements, such as local embroidery,” says Emma Master, Associate of Richmond International. “The unique interiors are designed to channel a sense of place through the use of local colours, textures and materials with traditional Middle Eastern influences.”
