Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre Presents Le Petit Chef by Dinner Time Story

Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre welcomes Dinner Time Story, a new and entirely innovative dining experience based around the culinary exploits of a diminutive animated chef who takes guests on a culinary journey around the world.

Taking place at the Monogram Room in Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre, guests will follow in the footsteps of Marco Polo and set off along the famous Silk Road. A journey that takes guests from Marseilles to Arabia,  India, the Himalayas and finally China, using cutting edge 3D visual technology and effective storytelling through flavours, ingredients, sights, sounds and tastes.

The show will take place on top of the guest’s tablecloth, right under their knife and fork, as a tiny chef, measuring just 58 millimetres (2 ½ inches), moves around the table. Muttering in French, Le Petit Chef will cook up delicious concoctions, accompanied by a variety of birds, boats, and even fire-breathing dragons that fly over guests’ plates.

Featuring an innovative six course tasting menu, the food showcases all the very best from countries along the Silk Road. From earthy tagines and aromatic curries, to fresh seafood and fusion desserts, the menu follows in Marco Polo’s footsteps through delicious dishes inspired by the Middle East, India and China, as well as Le Petit Chef’s own home town in Western France. Throughout the evening, the menu will be accompanied by clever props, soundtracks and scents, allowing guests to breathe the icy air of The Himalayas one moment and feel hot and heady in a Arabic souk the next. Designed to allow groups to eat together, Dinner Time Story is all about sharing this unique experience, there is also an option of wine pairing throughout the evening.
