Four Seasons announces the reopening of its restaurant Izumi and the launch of an exclusive Izumi Getaway package to enjoy a culinary hideaway in Geneva

Since May 11, 2020 the iconic restaurant Izumi at Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva has reopened, allowing enthusiasts and patrons to indulge in its renowned Peruvian-Japanese fusion cuisine once again, as well as enjoy the roof top terrace with breath-taking views of the Geneva skyline.

Additionally, the Hotel is launching an Izumi Getaway package, offering a sumptuous dinner at Izumi and a relaxing night at the Hotel. Guests will have the opportunity to taste the unique flavours of Japanese Chef Mitsuru Tsukada’s cuisine, and be pampered with warm and personalised service from Four Seasons employees. With its exceptional location by the lake, Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues is the ideal destination to explore and discover the charming city of Geneva and its surroundings.

The Concierge team, lead by Chef Concierge Mina Bayat, are very knowledgeable of the best places to visit, including off-the-beaten-track addresses. They are there to make each guest’s visit a unique, personalised and memorable experience, whether it is discovering the city or appreciating the region’s spectacular mountains and lakes.

For gastronomes based in the Geneva area, the Hotel is also offering a take-away service, with a selection of Izumi favourites to enjoy at home. The menu features signature dishes of Nikkei gastronomy such as sashimi, sushi, donburi, tuna tartare with gochujang sauce on crispy rice, or salmon tataki with karashi miso sauce. From vegetarian to truffle, spicy to creamy, the menu offers a wide variety of flavours that characterise the cuisine of Chef Mitsu.
