Surfside, Florida, U.S.A.

In an effort to give back to the community, Four Seasons Hotel and Residences at The Surf Club distributed 1,000 meals to Surfside locals, healthcare professionals and first responders on Friday, May 8, 2020, between 1:00 and 4:00 pm.

Executive Chef Antonio Mermolia and his dedicated culinary team prepared perfectly-seasoned roasted chicken breasts with a generous serving of potatoes, mixed vegetables and a cookie to finish the meal on a sweet note.

A dedicated team operated the initiative as a drive-through at the historic entrance of the Hotel, where meals were placed in trunks to ensure social distancing measures were practiced. With the help of the local community, The Surf Club was able to give back in a big way.

Of the initiative, Four Seasons Hotel and Residences at The Surf Club General Manager Cornelia Samara noted, “Our community is our home, and together through these difficult times we’ve overcome a great deal, bringing us even closer together. We look forward to working with the town of Surfside for many years to come.”

Prior to this drive, the Hotel launched four successful food relief events, orchestrated internally. The donation days brought together the employees during a time of unprecedented unknowns. It is with these efforts that Four Seasons Hotel and Residences at The Surf Club hopes to inspire and lend a helping hand.
