Washington, DC, U.S.A.

For the fourth consecutive year, Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC celebrates Global Wellness Day on Saturday, June 9, 2018. This social movement celebrated in 100 countries across the globe is entirely non-profit and reminds the entire world of the importance of living well, encompassing everything from exercise and beauty treatments, spiritual teachings and ways of thinking, to the harmony between body and spirit.

Marathon runner, tri-athlete and Hotel General Manager David Bernand leads the way in the Hotel’s commitment to health and wellness. “DC has consistently been ranked as one of America’s fittest cities, and we actively strive to embrace that high standard of wellness at Four Seasons. We know that both our guests and employees lead busy lives, and at times it can be difficult to remember the importance of self-care. Global Wellness Day allows us all the chance to pause and think about the value of our personal wellbeing, and provides motivation to continue good habits for the rest of the year.”

This year, the Hotel’s celebratory roster is an exciting one with self-care activities planned for the entire day. Advanced registration is not required but recommended for participation, and events are open to the public on a first come, first serve basis. Guests are invited to join fitness classes, attend meditation and Ayurveda seminars, and listen to the Hotel’s in-house specialists for a wellbeing panel discussion. To RSVP to the Global Wellness activities, e-mail PR.WAS@fourseasons.com.
