Washington, DC, U.S.A.

The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC, a Forbes Four-Star spa, reopens its doors. The Spa has been an oasis of calm in the heart of Georgetown for more than thirty years, offering luxurious and results-driven treatments to Washington, DC locals and Four Seasons Hotel guests. Featuring three floors of cutting-edge fitness equipment, including a heated swimming pool and whirlpool, The Spa is a full-service day spa and a haven of relaxation.

“With re-engineered protocols, I’m excited to be able to welcome back our guests and employees into a safe environment that offers much needed stress relief and relaxation,” says Spa Director Nabil Gomes. Currently expecting herself, Nabil highly recommends the Mommy to be Massage for any expecting mothers. “This therapeutic massage for Mom focuses on the special needs of her changing body, especially in the current environment.”

A wide selection of massages is available ranging from Swedish to sports and deep tissue treatments. The team of expertly-trained massage therapists are able to adapt and customise each massage to the needs of the client at that very moment, offering the most intuitive and indulgent wellness experience.

Hotel Manager Jason Devries is particularly happy about the reopening. “Our Fitness Club members and regular spa guests are like family to us, we were used to seeing them several times a week. We have missed them over the past three months and can’t wait to see them again.”

The safety and security of guests and employees remains top priority and, as such, The Spa and Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC have embarked on an enhanced global health and safety program, Lead With Care, to provide ongoing, real-time guidance on the evolving COVID-19 situation. Grounded in health care expertise and enabled by access to leading technologies and tools, Lead With Care sets out clear procedures that educate and empower employees to take care of guests and each other. Through the Lead With Care program, Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC will focus on enhancing cleanliness, guest comfort and safety and employee training. All employees and guests are required to submit to a temperature check upon arrival on property. Heightened cleanliness measures are in place and all guests and employees must wear a mask at all times.
