Power of Pink Dinner

Bourbon Steak invites guests to a special culinary experience in celebration of Women's History Month on March 28, 2024, to celebrate the power of women in food and beverage. Bourbon Steak Executive Chef Quentin Welch welcomes Chef Scheyla Acosta (La Bonne Vache) and Chef Michelle Poteaux (Bastille) for a special four course dinner on the Bourbon Steak patio. The sommelier team have worked with a selected group of female winemakers to offer unique wines to enhance the dinner. Proceeds from the event benefit Les Dames d'Escoffier DC Regional Chapter.  Bookings can be made online.

Bourbon Steak Bar Lead Bartender Engidawork Alebachew proposes a seasonal menu of innovative cocktails. The Power of Pink is a refreshing tincture made with strawberry infused vodka, goji berry liqueur, house made orgeat and lime juice, served over a large cube, garnished with edible flowers. Chef Welch offers her take on a spring-inspired dish with the snapper crudo, tart cherry leche de tigre, Granny Smith apples and cilantro.

The Spa in Spring

Led by Spa Director Erin Meyer, The Spa offers the ultimate in relaxation from sumptuous Spa Suites.

Guests can enjoy the Japanese Cherry Blossom ritual, an 80-minute treatment that offers a delicate cherry blossom infused scrub exfoliation, unveiling soft and radiant skin, followed by a rice buff, then the silkiness of lime oil to nourish and rejuvenate. The treatment concludes with the sublime richness of plum silk cream. It’s an exquisite bathhouse ritual, inspired by the beauty and serenity of Japanese traditions.  

The Cherry Blossom Facial is a rejuvenating organic facial treatment, featuring a luxurious cherry enzyme peel to gently exfoliate and revitalize skin. The essence of cherry blossom season is highlighted with a delicate fragrance creating a tranquil ambiance. The experience concludes with a gua sha facial massage and nourishing plum blossom hand massage.

Spring Brunch at Seasons

A celebration of Pan-Asian cuisine in honour of cherry blossom season. Savour poke bowls made by Executive Chef Bilal Wshah, house-roasted Peking duck, and hand-crafted sushi roll assortments in addition to the Seasons Sunday Brunch classics. Guests are invited to revel in an entire dessert room of spring confections created by Executive Pastry Chef Ashish Thalakkat and the talented pastry team.

In honour of cherry blossom season, Seasons introduces a new cocktail line up including the Tidal Basin Sling made with Tanqueray, Cointreau, tart cherry, yuzu and lime soda for a refreshing sip.

Seasons Cherry Blossom Tea

At Seasons, savour one of the finest afternoon teas available in Washington, DC every Saturday. With bubbles, bite-sized baubles and delicate petit-fours, experience a royal twist on the classic afternoon tea, led by Executive Pastry Chef / Tea Sommelier Ashish Thalakkat.

“We have created a tea service that honours the beauty of Washington, DC in spring,” says Thalakkat. Cherry blossom desserts crown a sumptuous tea service served every Saturday from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.
