Summertime, and the living is easy - and at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler, it’s much more than that: it’s pure magic. As sun-dappled days give way to late-evening sunsets in the fresh mountain air, memory-making moments happen at every level.

To celebrate all things sunny for 2023, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler has partnered with local flower shop Senka Florist and launched Summer in Bloom, with offerings all across the property. Just as flowers are popping up everywhere this time of year, the mountain getaway is in bloom with new features and services that are prime for the picking.

Summer calls for creative libations, and the new Bloom cocktail program at Braidwood Tavern in collaboration with Beam Suntory is a must-catch offering. Highlights include a Cruzan Rum-infused Flowery Earl Grey served in a bouquet of flowers, a pretty-in-pink sakura sipper, and a Tres Generacion tequila infused with hibiscus. The fresh beverages are as bedazzling as they are delicious. Meanwhile, intimate, upscale dining under twinkling patio lights is available at Sidecut Patio, where guests can relax over exceptional food and drink.

The Spa transforms into a garden of ultra-relaxation with new Summer Floral Treatments. The Fresh Petals Pedicure evokes fields of wildflowers and summer sunshine from start to polish. It begins with a foot soak in a lavender milk bath that soothes the feet and softens the skin and includes a floral foot scrub by Lola's Apothecary. A long foot massage using rosehip and lavender cream to create deep comfort follows, the ultimate pedicure including cuticle care, nail shaping, and polish. Then there’s the Alpine Meadows Massage. Picture a field surrounded by mighty mountain peaks full of wild flowers in hues of red, orange, white, yellow, pink, and purple. This treatment is a full-body immersion experience of pure, all-encompassing tranquillity. Ylang ylang, lavender and rosehip oils are masterfully blended to create a sunshine-y scent. Included in the treatment is an ultra-hydrating hand and foot mask that leaves skin rejuvenated and supple.

The Resort-wide bouquet of offerings all starts from the moment guests step into the mountainside retreat, where they are greeted with a refreshing floral welcome drink. Sidecut Steakhouse is featuring a sumptuous new dessert that captures the elegance of summer with sweet blooms of lavender. The pastry team has let their artistry flourish with the latest In-Room-Dining dessert tower, a delightfully bright and delicious creation that offers a range of sweet treats for all to enjoy.

Then there’s the Resort’s glorious archway, a collaboration with Senka Florist and Best Coast Lighting. Guests can stroll through a tunnel of a hanging, dangling garden, all twinkling with little lights and abundant in delightful summer blooms. The romantic, al fresco spot is picture-perfect.

Also bursting forth this summer are Curated Celebration Packages, designed with Senka FloristWhistler Balloon Works, and Bliss Events. The Honeybee Jubilee marks any occasion with multiple styles of balloons and a scattering of rose petals; guests can also toast the season with bubbly paired with chocolate dipped strawberries. The Evergreen Love package, featuring a deluxe balloon installation, pretty rose petals, and a bouquet of roses, features optional Champagne and a deluxe treat. And the Black Diamond is a stunner with fresh floral designs and bespoke balloon creations to enhance in-room dining, with optional Champagne.

These are just some of the petal-forward features at the mountain resort this summer, with bunches of beauty ready to be enjoyed.
