David's path to hospitality began with aspirations of becoming a physician and hospital administrator. While studying Pre-Medicine and Business Administration and earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology, he discovered that hospitality offered a different, but equally meaningful, way to care for people, build relationships, and create memorable experiences.
After beginning his career at Sofitel Washington DC Lafayette Square, David advanced into leadership roles before taking his talents abroad. He served as Hotel Manager of Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Cartagena, later becoming General Manager of Sofitel Bogotá Victoria Regia, where he developed a deep appreciation for leading diverse teams and operating in dynamic international environments.
In 2021, David relocated to Panama City as General Manager of Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo Panama, overseeing the hotel's pre-opening, operational readiness, and successful launch. In June 2026, he joined Four Seasons Resort Peninsula Papagayo, drawn by the resort's exceptional reputation, breathtaking natural surroundings, and culture of genuine hospitality. "Joining this exceptional resort is both a privilege and an honour," he shares. "The breathtaking surroundings and the care demonstrated by our people make this a truly special place to call home."

When he's not working, David enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and exploring cultures around the world. A devoted food and beverage enthusiast, he is especially passionate about discovering exceptional culinary experiences and celebrating the role gastronomy plays in bringing people together.
