Bartender at Añejo Bar and our Lead Mixologist, Tshala Birza began her cocktail journey in Aruba, honing her craft at a renowned Italian restaurant chain. After returning to Costa Rica, where she was educated, she continued her passion behind the bars in San José and then in Guanacaste, where she has lived and thrived since. Tshala has flourished, creating unique menus for Nemare Steak House and serving as Lead Mixologist at the Resort Her journey includes experiences such as Barra México and the creation of the menu for Garden Table and Taste of the Stars.

Her passion for connecting with people intertwines with her love for nature, a main reason that led her to settle in Guanacaste. This natural environment not only complements her lifestyle but also inspires her daily work, allowing her to infuse each cocktail with the essence of the land she so values. Inspired by her grandmother’s teachings, Tshala uses traditional herbs to create unforgettable experiences.
