Wayne Tan of Four Seasons Hotel Dalian Named Outstanding Hotel General Manager at Travel + Leisure China Travel Awards 2023

Recently, Wayne Tan, the General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Dalian, was awarded as Outstanding Hotel General Manager by Travel + Leisure China Travel Awards 2023.

The Travel + Leisure China Travel Awards, introduced to China in 2007, has been successfully held for 17 sessions. The awards are jointly evaluated by insiders, authoritative media, and consumers in the hotel and travel industry. The selection is based on comprehensive and in-depth evaluations of hotel facilities and the city or scenic area where they are located. It is highly recognized both within and outside the industry and is known as the “Oscars of the tourism industry,” setting a benchmark in the domestic tourism sector.

This year's Travel + Leisure China Travel Awards Outstanding Hotel General Manager award aims to commend exceptional individuals who have made significant contributions to the hotel industry. Wayne Tan, with more than two decades of experience with Four Seasons, embarked on his journey in Dalian in 2022 to oversee the preparation of the new hotel. On April 20, 2024, he and his team orchestrated a memorable opening ceremony, signaling the entry of Four Seasons Hotel Dalian into the market.

As a general manager, Wayne Tan is not only leading a new hotel but also introducing Four Seasons to a new region. "This is an uncharted sea for us with an opportunity to transform the hotel scene in the city and beyond," he says, emphasizing Four Seasons Hotel Dalian as the first true luxury property in Northeast China.
