Fresca, the boutique pâtisserie at Four Seasons Hotel Dalian, officially opened its outdoor garden on June 6, kicking off the season with a media-exclusive tasting event under the theme “Breezes, Sunshine, and Greenery.” This alfresco celebration seamlessly blended the elegance of French pâtisserie with a fresh perspective on sustainable living, inviting guests to experience the taste — and intention — of summer.

French Flair: A New Collection of Seasonal Pastries

Fresca debuted six new desserts inspired by the artistry of traditional French pâtisserie, each reimagined with a modern, summer-forward twist. From creamy layers and citrus accents to nutty richness and fresh seasonal fruits, the collection showcases delicate craftsmanship with a playful spirit. Handcrafted daily using premium ingredients, these desserts reflect Fresca’s dedication to both flavour and finesse — offering a refined, yet comforting indulgence for the season.

Summer Refreshment: Crafted Drinks to Cool and Inspire

To pair with the pastries, Fresca introduced a lineup of refreshing seasonal beverages. Sparkling fruit infusions bring brightness and lift, while inventive coffee blends — such as citrus- and probiotic-inspired twists on the classic Americano — provide an energizing counterpoint. Each drink is crafted to awaken the palate and enhance the garden experience.

Green Living: Sustainability in Every Sip and Step

Echoing the event’s eco-conscious theme, guests were invited to take part in a coffee grounds art workshop — a creative activity that turns used coffee grounds into textured artwork. This hands-on initiative highlights the beauty of circular design and encourages thoughtful reuse in daily life.
