Two Signature Outlets at Four Seasons Hotel Doha are Recognized at the Inaugural Ceremony for Michelin Guide Doha

Two of the signature outlets at Four Seasons Hotel Doha – Curiosa by Jean-Georges and Nobu Doha – have been awarded a Selection at the inaugural ceremony for the Michelin Guide Doha 2025, further elevating the hotel’s status as a culinary destination. Boasting 10 distinct restaurants, the hotel invites its guests on a gastronomic journey where every meal is an event of its own.

The Michelin Guide is a benchmark in gastronomy, and its inspectors are using the same five criteria all around the world: the quality of the ingredients, mastery of cooking techniques, the harmony of the flavours, expression of the chef’s personality in the cuisine, and consistency, both over time and across the entire menu.

The jury has selected Latin-American Curiosa by Jean-Georges and Japanese Nobu for inclusion in the Guide this year.

Authenticity and exquisite flavours are the hallmarks of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Michelin-starred Latin and global-inspired cuisine. Since its opening two years ago, Curiosa by Jean-Georges has already become a Doha favourite, drawing diners with its lively mix of punchy flavours, creative cocktails, and its ever-popular Friday brunch. The convivial indoor setting, with hacienda-style décor, pops of bold colours and cheerful mosaics, is complemented by a large outdoor terrace where hanging plants offer bursts of greenery and warm breezes off the Arabian Sea ignite the mood – and the appetite.

The culinary team initially helmed by Executive Chef Edgar Hurtado, who has been recently promoted to Culinary Director, brought the originality and culinary style of his Peruvian heritage to Curiosa. Head Chef Shreyas Kadam took over the kitchen where he focuses on creating the perfect blend of textures, colours and flavours. And it’s in the large open kitchen where the real culinary magic happens, with Kadam and team slicing, dicing and spicing, combining Latin American ingredients such as tamarind, guajillo, serrano chili and aji amarillo with the freshest produce and the occasional touch of the Middle East, such as turmeric tahini, zaatar and date molasses, in the perfect tribute to the multicultural city in which it makes its home.

Nobu Doha at Four Seasons Hotel Doha is one of the true landmarks of Qatar capital city – the architectural masterpiece designed by Rockwell Group, inspired by the shape of an open oyster shell containing precious pearls, it perfectly embraces the ancient culture of pearl diving, traditional to the region. Dramatically perched on a peninsula of its own and offering breathtaking 360 views of the sea and city skyline, Nobu has been the ultimate see-and-be seen destination in Doha, beloved by guests and local patrons alike for the consistently exceptional experience it offers, where the signature new-style Japanese cuisine of Nobu is complemented by unrivalled ambience of its unique location. The restaurant is led by Executive Chef Mauro Baldari.
