Beauty Connects: Reconnect and Radiate This Global Wellness Day with The Pearl Spa and Wellness at Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, The Pearl Spa and Wellness Jumeirah at Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach welcomes individuals to honour Global Wellness Day with Beauty Connects, a soulful morning of movement, mindfulness and connection.

Hosted in collaboration with luxury wellness brand ALAM and Hia Magazine, this thoughtfully curated experience embraces the 2025 Global Wellness Day theme, #ReconnectMagenta, which encourages a deeper connection to self, nature and community.

The morning begins at 10:00 am with a 30-minute sculpting Pilates session set in the serene surrounds of The Pearl Spa. Designed to tone, lengthen and energise the body, the session focuses on core engagement, posture, and overall muscle definition, helping to establish a strong foundation for a more sculpted and aligned physique. As a mindful movement practice, Pilates also promotes mental clarity and encourages a grounded sense of presence.

Following the session, guests will be introduced to the practice of Gua Sha in a guided masterclass by ALAM, a luxury wellness brand with roots in Dubai and the Netherlands. Inspired by nature’s healing power, ALAM, meaning “nature” in Malay, offers a curated collection of clean, plant-based products that honour time-tested beauty rituals. During the class, attendees will learn how to use ALAM’s sculpting tools to stimulate lymphatic drainage, release facial and muscular tension, and contour both the face and body. The soothing massage techniques not only elevate glow and tone but also encourage detoxification and a renewed sense of calm.

Together, the practices of Pilates and Gua Sha create a powerful synergy. Pilates works to activate and sculpt the muscles, while Gua Sha enhances definition and reduces puffiness through precision massage. The physical movement boosts circulation and the Gua Sha techniques further support lymphatic flow, amplifying the benefits of both practices. As a pairing, they offer a holistic approach to wellness, one that cultivates inner balance, aids in recovery and restores a luminous sense of vitality.
