Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre introduces a refined take on a beloved tradition with the launch of the new Sugar-Free Afternoon Tea at Penrose Lounge. Designed for the health-conscious connoisseur, this thoughtfully curated experience celebrates wellness and mindful eating, without compromising on indulgence or flavour.

Served daily from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, the exquisite menu features desserts and pastries crafted using naturally derived sugar alternatives such as white crystalline date sugar, extracted through an all-natural process, and coconut sugar, an eco-friendly favourite known for its lower glycaemic index. “We wanted to offer something that feels good to enjoy,” says Rami Nasser, Executive Chef at Four Seasons Hotel DIFC. “The focus was on using natural ingredients in a way that still brings out all the comfort and joy people expect from a classic afternoon tea.”

The refined and naturally sweet afternoon tea showcases a variety of delightful creations. Guests can enjoy Choux filled with rich chocolate cream and topped with crunchy cocoa nibs, and a decadent Date Cake wrapped in smooth date ganache and velvety chocolate. The Pistachio & Raspberry presents a light, airy pistachio mousse crowned with vibrant raspberry confit, while the beloved Carrot Cake offers a nostalgic treat adorned with luscious cream cheese frosting.

Complementing the sweet selections are a range of timeless accompaniments including freshly baked Scones, classic Madeleine, and the pillowy Italian Maritozzi. Guests may enjoy these delights with a choice of freshly brewed coffee or an assortment of premium teas. For those seeking to elevate the experience, a glass of champagne offers the perfect finishing touch.

Newly introduced at Penrose Lounge, a selection of alcohol-free mocktails brings a refreshing twist to the menu. The Sapphire Lemon & Elderflower offers a crisp, floral lift, while the Peach & Pear Iced Tea blends mellow fruit notes for an easy going sip. La Vie en Rose adds a romantic touch with its delicate floral and berry profile, and the Matcha Cloud, made with coconut water, delivers a creamy, revitalising take on green tea. Each pairs beautifully with the consciously crafted afternoon tea, offering guests an elegant way to personalise the experience.
