Thomas Krooswijk Appointed as New General Manager of Four Seasons Hotels Istanbul
Bringing decades of global luxury hospitality experience and a visionary leadership style, Thomas Krooswijk has been appointed General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus and Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet.
Born in France and raised across Africa and the Middle East, Thomas is celebrated for his people-first philosophy, cultural sensitivity, and unwavering commitment to excellence. He began his Four Seasons journey in 2001 at The Pierre, New York (formerly a Four Seasons hotel), where his early experience in food and beverage shaped his understanding of hospitality, attention to detail, authentic guest connections, and the art of creating unforgettable experiences.
Throughout his career, Thomas has held key leadership roles worldwide, including Director of Food & Beverage at Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles; Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto and Four Seasons Hotel Amman; and most recently, General Manager at Four Seasons Resort Marrakech.
Today, he takes the helm of Istanbul’s two iconic Four Seasons properties, playing a pivotal role in bringing together the city’s rich heritage with a contemporary sense of luxury.
From the graceful silhouette of Four Seasons Hotel Bosphorus on the shores of the strait to the timeless architecture of Four Seasons Hotel Sultanahmet, both properties will continue under Thomas’s leadership to offer authentic, heartfelt, and unforgettable experiences that reflect the spirit of Istanbul.
