Plan a family getaway this autumn to Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole to experience abundant foliage and plentiful wildlife, combined with fewer crowds, setting the stage for a fall break to remember.

“Fall is a time of transition and beauty in Jackson Hole, perfect for a family getaway,” says Resort Manager Peter Houston. “It is one of the best seasons for wildlife viewing, and also a chance to see the destination with fewer crowds.”

Fall offerings at the property and in the destination include:

Into the Wild

The greater Yellowstone Basin is home to a vast concentration of diverse wildlife. Explore all the destination has to offer with a family-friendly adventure with Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris. Choose from an excursion into nearby Grand Teton National Park, head to the southern tip of Yellowstone or book the bucket-list American Serengeti tour for up to eight guests to the northern region of the Park. Signature wildlife for possible sightings include bison, bears, elk, moose, big horn sheep, raptors and mule deer.

Fall Colours

Jackson Hole is known for its fall foliage, including aspen and cottonwood trees with shades of yellow and gold, and maple trees with vibrant orange and red colours. Arrange a visit to Grand Teton National Park to observe the beautiful fall foliage on a Wildlife Safari or head to the Concierge for recommendations for the best local hikes to see the changing colours, accompanied by a gourmet picnic lunch.

Resort Programming

This fall, enjoy a variety of complimentary programming, including yoga classes and mocktail, tequila and whiskey tastings. Take a self-guided tour of the property’s exclusive Wild by Four Seasons collection of local, regional and national art. Guests ages 12 and older can visit the satellite Basecamp to rent an e-bike for a self-guided tour of Teton Village and beyond, taking in the fall colours along the route. Following a day of adventure, retreat to the year-round heated pool for a soothing soak in one of the three whirlpools.

Explore the Night Skies

The whole family can join the Resort’s professional astronomer for an unforgettable evening under the stars. Using a state-of-the-art telescope, uncover the wonders of the night sky as never before. This experience lasts approximately two hours on property, or head to Grand Teton National Park for a more immersive experience, showcasing the vast beauty of the cosmos.
