Elizabeth Rodriguez serves as Executive Pastry Chef at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole, where she leads the pastry team with a commitment to craftsmanship, creativity and mentorship. Rodriguez brings more than a decade of luxury hospitality experience to her role in Jackson Hole, and passion for building high-performing teams rooted in curiosity, precision and continuous learning.

Born in Salamanca, Guanajuato, Mexico, Rodriguez discovered her love for food at an early age alongside her grandmother, who remains her greatest influence. Some of her earliest memories are of cooking together, visiting plant nurseries, and learning through observation rather than instruction. These experiences instilled a lifelong belief that food is deeply personal, shaped as much by intuition and care as by technique and ingredients.

Rodriguez's hospitality journey began with a moment of instinctive clarity. While driving through Miami, she became captivated by the energy, creativity, and scale of the city's luxury hotels and knew she wanted to build her career in hospitality. That decision led her to pursue formal culinary training at Richard J. Daley College in Chicago and Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, where she earned an associate in science degree as well as a Diplôme in Patisserie and Baking.

Unlike many pastry chefs, Rodriguez did not begin her culinary career focused on baking. Instead, she chose pastry because it challenged her. Drawn to its technical precision, discipline and artistry, she embraced the opportunity to master an unfamiliar craft and has continued seeking new challenges throughout her career.

Prior to joining Four Seasons, Rodriguez held pastry leadership roles at several acclaimed luxury properties, including Omni Dallas Hotel, Conrad Los Angeles, The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch, Faena Miami Beach, and Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Her experience across some of the country's most celebrated hospitality destinations has shaped a pastry philosophy cantered on balance, thoughtful presentation and refined flavours that invite guests back for another bite.

Known for her preference for bright, fresh and fruit-forward flavour profiles, Rodriguez believes exceptional pastry is about harmony rather than excess. She views detail as an expression of care, whether creating an elaborate plated dessert, a guest amenity or a simple fruit presentation.

As a leader, Rodriguez is passionate about fostering environments where learning never stops. She actively encourages her team to explore new skills and techniques while understanding the purpose behind their craft. "I'm most energized when I'm building something — a team, a culture a standard," says Rodriguez. "I'm drawn to environments where I can push myself, test my skills and leave a meaningful imprint."

Outside the kitchen, Rodriguez enjoys road trips, discovering small towns, floral design and creative projects that allow her to work with her hands. Looking ahead, she is particularly passionate about developing pastry and culinary education opportunities for children and teens with special needs, creating pathways for confidence, creativity and skill-building through the art of baking.

Rodriguez is fluent in English and Spanish.
