Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole General Manager Jane Kim spent her childhood travelling between the United States and Seoul, Korea. Her father was a college professor, and from an early age instilled in Kim a deep sense of curiosity and desire to learn, propelling her to travel and explore.
“My thirst for knowledge has been the driving force in my career,” says Kim. “With each new property, I’ve sought to make a positive impact in every aspect of the hotel operation. I believe ensuring a seamless and smooth employee experience is the key to creating a memorable guest experience that exceeds expectations.”
During her career, Kim has found her ability to make an impact to be one of the most rewarding aspects of being a leader. She played a pivotal role in leading several aspects of the guest experience at several of the brand’s most renowned properties including the iconic Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel, along with properties in Washington, DC, and Boston, before overseeing the pre-opening and subsequent opening of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley. Most recently, Kim led the resort operation of the The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas, through a multi-year full property, pool, spa, and outlet renovation and rebranding.
Kim is inspired by Jackson Hole’s rugged beauty, intrinsic hospitality and the opportunity to take the guests' adventurous spirit and create incomparable experiences. “Hospitality comes so naturally to the team here; there is such warmth and passion that, when channelled through the Four Seasons lens of global refinement, creates a truly special and memorable guest experience.”
A graduate of Michigan State University, Kim is thrilled to be back in a winter destination in the iconic American West.
“I have felt so welcomed by the Jackson Hole family, and am thrilled to be joining this adventure-loving community,” she says.
While easily enamoured with the property’s iconic mountain setting, Kim has quickly discovered it is the authentic hospitality of the team that inspires both guests and residents alike to return, year after year. “The pride our staff has in sharing this special place with our guests is incredible to witness and their enthusiasm is infectious.”
Continuing the momentum of the 2024 summer enhancements – including the First Chair mountainside “grab and go,” 80 Proof speakeasy, and transformed five-bedroom Granite Residence and Mountain Lounge – Kim leads the property in conceptualizing and renovating two new restaurants in 2025. “The team’s commitment to continuing to challenge themselves and deliver the best guest experience provides an incredible foundation of trust and care that will allow us to try something new and different.”
Kim is joined in Jackson Hole by her two rescue dogs, Millie and Seymour. “I’m a little concerned they’ll get lost in the snow,” she laughs. “They are only 15 pounds each.” Jane, Millie, and Seymour are excited to explore all that Jackson Hole has to offer.
