Robert Chinman is the Director of Marketing at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole, a perfect destination to continue his love of cowboy culture, building upon his most recent role as opening Director of Public Relations and Communications at Four Seasons Hotel Nashville.
“Leading the sales and marketing organization in Jackson Hole as Director of Marketing is a dream assignment,” says Chinman. “Our team connects with every type of visitor to the destination – from individual travellers and corporate groups to those hosting a wedding, gala or special event. With the natural beauty of the destination as our backdrop, we work daily to deliver the best possible experience to each and every guest.”
In Nashville, Chinman was the opening Director of Public Relations and Communications, playing a pivotal role in establishing the property in the community, and in the development and execution of strategic plans related to digital marketing, marketing communications and public relations.
Chinman began his journey with the world’s leading luxury hospitality company back in 2017, as Director of Public Relations and Communications at Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island. Eager to take on new challenges, he moved to Boston in 2019 to join the pre-opening team on the city’s second property, Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston. Following a brief stint outside of the brand in the Caribbean, as the world pivoted in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, he returned to Four Seasons in Nashville six months later.
"In the midst of very challenging times, the opportunity to relocate to Saint Lucia and work on the re-opening of two resorts in the Caribbean was one that I gained a lot of great experience from,” he says. “To have extended my expertise in a resort environment in a new region of the world was so valuable."
A British national, Robert’s extensive international experience spans sales, marketing, branding and communications, and a diverse skill set that highlights his deep understanding of brands and how they connect to consumers.
Robert holds a BA in Business Administration (Honours) from Anglia Polytechnic University, United Kingdom, with a specialisation in Marketing, in addition to a Certificate in Hospitality Marketing from Cornell University School of Hotel Administration in Ithaca, New York.
