Bar Trigona at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur has been named one of Tatler’s Best 100 Bars in Asia 2024. The prestigious list, unveiled on November 24, 2024, places Bar Trigona among the region’s top cocktail destinations, highlighting its commitment to artistry, innovation and warm hospitality.

Tatler’s Best 100 Bars list is a compilation of Asia’s finest establishments, curated by a panel of more than 400 experts. The jury, comprising Tatler editors, hospitality veterans and travel enthusiasts, recognizes venues that stand out for their creativity, service and influence on the region’s mixology landscape. This year’s winners were announced at the Tatler Best of Asia event in Bangkok, a glamorous gathering of 500 industry luminaries.
This latest honour adds to Bar Trigona’s growing roster of achievements. Besides being ranked as one of Asia’s 50 Best Bars for six consecutive years, the bar was named among the Top Ten Best International Hotel Bars in the World at the 2024 Spirited Awards. Previously, it has also won the Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award and the Siete Misterios Best Cocktail Menu Award.
Honey-Powered Sustainability
Bar Trigona’s defining characteristic is its eponymous trigona honey, produced by stingless bees native to Malaysia. The unusual nectar’s distinctive notes shift subtly with the seasons, resulting in cocktails that evolve through the year. Honey is also at the heart of Bar Trigona’s sustainability program, with initiatives such as Adopt a Beehive geared to support natural beekeeping practices in Malaysia. Taking a farm-to-glass, low-waste approach, the mixology team crafts innovative drinks with homegrown ingredients sourced from local farmers and food producers. The ingenious repurposing of often-overlooked elements such as seeds, leaves and peels ensures that nothing goes unused, unlocking exciting new flavour profiles.
Coming Soon: Colour Me Curious 2.0
Launching in January 2025, Bar Trigona’s Colour Me Curious 2.0 menu promises a sensory adventure with vibrant cocktails in captivating hues and flavours. The new menu continues to showcase trigona honey in signature drinks such as Bloom, a striking blend of tequila, pink dragon fruit, trigona honey liqueur and ginger beer, and Cosmos, crafted with vodka, jackfruit, butterfly pea flowers and a lemonade ice ball.
For a more decadent sipping experience, The Wagyu and The Elysian include rare ingredients such as A5 wagyu tallow and Chablis Premier Cru, while sustainability takes centre stage with single-ingredient cocktails such as Pomelo and Banana. Guests can look forward to creations that delight both the gaze and the palate, further solidifying Bar Trigona’s reputation as a trailblazer in the regional cocktail scene.
