Light up the Mid-Autumn festivities with handcrafted mooncakes from Yun House, the Michelin-selected Cantonese restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Mirroring the full moon, a traditional symbol of unity and completeness, these round-shaped delights come in a sumptuous array of flavours, from all-time classics to bold innovations.

This year’s mooncakes are meticulously crafted by Chef Ng Meng Loong, an award-winning dim sum maestro with more than 20 years of Chinese culinary artistry under his belt. His intricate creations, housed in a striking crimson-and-gold Four Seasons box, are ideal for gifting to family, dear friends and valued business associates.

“At the Mid-Autumn Festival, loved ones come together to share mooncakes under the ethereal glow of the full moon. It is an occasion for reunion, gratitude and joy,” says Chef Loong. “This year, we are thrilled to introduce a brand-new signature mooncake — the Black Truffle Lotus Paste with Pine Nuts and Kelulut Honey. I have taken the time to experiment and perfected the ingredients, ensuring that each bite offers a harmonious blend of flavours. It is very unusual to find black truffle in snow skin mooncakes, so this will be an exciting addition to any celebration.”

Besides the exquisite taste of black truffle, the house-crafted Snow Skin Mooncakes are available in luscious flavours such as Musang King Durian and Bird's Nest with Black Sesame and Almond. The Classic Baked Mooncakes selection features delectable fillings such as Traditional Mixed Nuts, Pandan Lotus Seed Paste with Yolk, and White Lotus Seed Paste.

Embellished with elegant patterns, the limited edition Four Seasons box adds a touch of magic to the gifting experience and can also be used as a beautiful jewellery box.

Individual mooncakes are priced at MYR 44+ to MYR 80+ per piece. Gift boxes are available from MYR 288+ to MYR 388+.

Orders are now available and can be collected between July 29 and September 17, 2024. Orders placed before August 15, 2024 receive 15 percent early bird savings.
