Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur welcomes the Mid-Autumn Festival with thoughtfully curated mooncakes that balance timeless tradition with the excitement of the new. Guided by Chef Ng Meng Loong of Yun House, the hotel’s Michelin-selected Cantonese restaurant, this year’s collection shares the spirit of reunion through exquisite expressions of flavour, craft and legacy.
Leading the festive selection is the new Bird's Nest, Dragon Fruit and Pecan Nuts snow skin mooncake (MYR 69), crafted by Chef Loong exclusively for the season. Delicate snow skin infused with mint, dragon fruit and orchid enfolds a sumptuous filling of lotus seed paste, red date and bird’s nest set in coconut milk, with pecan nuts for a textured finish. The composition reveals deeper layers in every bite, moving from soft floral notes to gentle sweetness to a silky richness that lingers on the palate.
Bringing a fresh flair to Mid-Autumn celebrations, the new Bird's Nest, Dragon Fruit and Pecan Nuts snow skin mooncake joins other snow skin favourites such as Musang King Durian Paste (MYR 89), Black Sesame Lotus Seed Paste with Almond (MYR 59) and White Lotus Seed Paste with Palm Sugar, Macadamia Nuts and Seaweed (MYR 59).
Alongside these light, contemporary creations, the collection honours the enduring appeal of traditional baked mooncakes with a choice of five classic flavours, including Pandan Lotus Seed Paste with Single Egg Yolk and Melon Seeds (MYR 47), Red Bean Paste with Almond Flakes (MYR 47) and Eight-Nut Treasure (MYR 49).
With over two decades of Chinese culinary experience, Chef Loong brings an exceptional level of precision and care to each mooncake, drawing on time-honoured techniques while exploring new possibilities through taste, texture and presentation.
Presented in an elegant, jewellery-inspired gift box in auspicious shades of red, the mooncake collection is thoughtfully designed to elevate festive gatherings and gifting traditions.
Mooncakes are available individually or in gift boxes. Orders open on July 20, 2026, and may be collected from August 1 to September 25, 2026. Orders placed before August 20, 2026, receive 15 percent savings. Purchases of 20 or more boxes receive 10 percent savings.
