Starting August 1, 2023, Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto will offer Diptyque bath amenities in all guest rooms. With the transition to refillable ceramic bottles, the Hotel strengthens its commitment to sustainability and offers travellers a more eco-conscious stay in the heart of Kyoto.

A renowned French fragrance brand, Diptyque creates luxurious products infused with distinctive and elegant scents. Inspired by art and nature, the brand combines carefully selected natural ingredients with cutting-edge technology to deliver a blissfully sensorial bathing experience.

Fanny Guibouret, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto, states, “As members of the local community, we have always valued reducing our environmental impact and preserving the beautiful city of Kyoto. We are now taking another important step in this direction with the launch of sustainable bottles for Diptyque’s meticulously crafted bath products. Our goal is to reduce waste from amenity production and disposal, while also promoting recycling. We are confident that we can provide our guests with a refined bathing experience while at the same time caring for the environment through these sustainable practices.”

In line with its environmental objectives, the Hotel has implemented several eco-friendly initiatives over the past few years, including the Green Linen Program to reduce water consumption; a rigorous waste segregation and recycling program; and a sustainable sourcing strategy that supports local farmers and food artisans. In addition, all guest rooms now feature reusable mineral water bottles.

Starting August 1, Diptyque shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, hand soap and body lotion will be introduced in plastic-free, refillable pump bottles across all 180 guest rooms at Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto. Guests are invited to discover a luxurious bathing experience that is not only fragrant and revitalizing but also beneficial for the environment.
