Commemorate International Yoga Day with Four Seasons Resorts Lanai

Explore new practices and salute the sun in Hawaii

June 2, 2025,
Hawaii, Lanai, U.S.A.

This year marks the 10th International Day of Yoga on June 21, 2025, a day noted by the United Nations to promote the health and wellness benefits of the practice to people all over the world. Continue a practice, try a new modality or get on the mat for the first time with a selection of classes and private sessions with Four Seasons Resorts Lanai.

At Sensei Lanai, A Four Seasons Resort, an adults-only wellness enclave, guests can choose from a collection of curated experiences to more structured programs, to best align actions to intentions on their journey to well-being. In collaboration with pre-arrival specialists and Sensei Guides, customized itineraries are crafted to meet each guest’s personal goals and preferences in an inspiring and supportive environment.

The retreat features a number of daily wellness and fitness classes including Morning Meditation and Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Basics and Sensei Yoga Flow along with Deep Relaxation, Open Sky Meditation and more. The weekly activity calendar is available online, or in the FS Mobile App.

Guests can also expand their knowledge of yoga postures, breathwork and alignment in a private session designed to uncover insights to deepen one’s flow while safely considering and working around any limitations. The sessions can be tailored for solo travellers or partners, along with pre-natal options. Outdoor facilities, set in nature to provide a beautiful picture frame around each experience, include a 24-hour fitness facility, two movement studios, a yoga pavilion and outdoor yoga spaces nestled in lush gardens featuring tropical trees and flowers sharing space with sculptures and art.

Yoga offerings through Hawanawana Spa at Four Seasons Resort Lanai include complimentary classes such as Beach Yoga alongside Hulopoe Bay and Morning Meditation, or try aerial yoga, where silk hammocks welcome all levels in an AntiGravity Yoga session that boasts many stress and pain-relieving benefits.  The yoga studio space is positioned on an ocean-facing cliff with a spectacular view through a floor-to-ceiling glass window-wall. An intimate lawn beyond the window and at the edge of the cliff overlooks the ocean with views to Maui.

Try a private yoga session or sound bath meditation with Caroline Reese, Resident Wellness Practitioner. Utilizing a wide variety of practices including Reiki and sound, she enjoys combining modalities to personalize experiences that encourage deeper connections with the self. A favourite for couples is a private meditation under the stars or a personalised healing session, which can combine multiple methods tailored to promote relaxation and well-being.

Class schedule can be found online or in the FS Mobile App.
