Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas Debuts American Grandeur by Renowned Artist Erin Hanson
Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas announces the debut of American Grandeur, a new exhibition by acclaimed contemporary artist Erin Hanson, the hotel’s featured Artist-in-Residence from April 20 through October 2026. Presented in celebration of the United States' 250th anniversary, the collection invites guests to experience the colour, scale and emotion of the American landscape through Hanson’s signature Open Impressionism style.
Spanning some of the country’s most iconic national and state parks, American Grandeur features works inspired by the dramatic terrain of the American West and beyond. Among the pieces on display are Seven Sisters at Dawn, capturing the golden light across the red rock formations of Valley of Fire State Park and Red Rock Canyon Dawn, where early morning hues illuminate one of Southern Nevada’s most striking conservation areas just moments from Las Vegas.
Additional works transport viewers across celebrated landscapes, from the glowing cliffs of Zion Light and Autumn Wash to the vast perspective of Grand Canyon Light and the sculptural beauty of Bryce Canyon II. Each piece reflects Hanson’s immersive approach to painting, where bold brushstrokes and radiant colour convey not only place, but the feeling of standing within it.
Installed throughout the gallery corridor and lobby, the exhibition transforms the guest experience into a journey through America’s most awe-inspiring protected landscapes. As the only non-gaming, non-smoking luxury hotel on The Strip, Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas uniquely positions itself as a gateway to the Southwest, where the energy of Las Vegas meets the vast, preserved beauty of the surrounding desert.
This connection is central to the hotel’s On The Strip, Off The Grid ethos. While steps from world-class entertainment, the property offers access to experiences that extend far beyond the city, into national and state parks including Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, Zion, Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon. Hanson’s work brings that same sense of discovery indoors, enabling engagement with these landscapes before ever setting out to explore them in person.
For those inspired to experience these landscapes firsthand, the hotel’s exclusive Natural Wonders Package offers a seamless extension of the exhibition beyond the walls of the hotel. The experience includes a helicopter journey above Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam, with a private landing at the Valley of Fire and deep within the Grand Canyon’s West Rim. A curated picnic prepared by the hotel’s culinary team is served above the Colorado River, followed by an aerial journey over Lake Mead and back across the Las Vegas Strip.
Designed as a fully immersive experience, the package includes luxury accommodations, round-trip airport and helicopter transfers, and access available only to Four Seasons guests, bringing the same sense of scale, perspective and wonder captured in Hanson’s work to life.
As part of her residency, Hanson will be on property on Sunday, May 10, 2026 in celebration of Mother’s Day, meeting with guests throughout the day. Thoughtfully timed alongside the hotel’s Mother’s Day brunch at Veranda, the experience provides the opportunity to engage with the artist before or after dining, offering insights into her creative process.
“I am thrilled to return to Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas for my second exhibition,” says Erin Hanson. “Las Vegas has long been a gateway to some of the most extraordinary landscapes in the American Southwest and this collection is deeply inspired by that sense of place. To share these works in a setting that so beautifully balances energy and tranquillity makes this experience especially meaningful.”
“At Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, art is an integral part of how we shape the guest experience,” says Kathryn Freymuller, Commercial Director at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas. “Through our Artist-in-Residence program, we introduce work that not only enhances the environment, but deepens the connection to the destination. Erin’s paintings reflect the national and state parks that define this region, allowing guests to experience the spirit of the Southwest in a way that feels both immersive and enduring.”
All artwork is available for purchase, with acquisitions handled directly between the guest and the artist, supporting a direct connection between collector and creator.
