Jet-Set to the East Cape of Baja for an Epicurean Summer on the Riviera at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Los Cabos at Costa Palmas
Four Seasons Resort and Residences Los Cabos at Costa Palmas, the award-winning luxury Resort overlooking the Sea of Cortez in the distinguished community of Costa Palmas, offers an Epicurean Summer Riviera experience, much closer to home.
Located directly on two-and-a-half miles (four kilometres) of sparkling, swimmable beach on the East Cape of Baja, the exclusive enclave is home to the only Four Seasons private marina in the world, and boasts 13 different dining and drinking experiences including hotspot Delphine Day Club by Michelin-starred Chef Ludo Lefebvre; world-renowned Mediterranean restaurant, estiatorio Milos; Mozza Baja by James Beard Foundation Award winner, author, and restauranteur Nancy Silverton; and the smallest restaurant in Los Cabos Zest, which has just one table and offers an unforgettable nine-course chef’s tasting menu.
With more than 500 direct flights to the destination each week, summer on the Riviera is just a few hours away. Guests coming from Southern California can elevate their round-trip travel experience with preferred pricing via luxury semi-private jet service, Aero. The partnership allows for seamless travel between private terminals at Van Nuys Airport (VNY) and Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) without wait times or large crowds while moving through customs in record time.
“Summer on the Riviera is all about sun and fun with your favourite people in a fabulous, sea-side setting where slow days roll into long summer nights,” says Sandra Oliva, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Los Cabos at Costa Palmas. “We’re thrilled to offer guests this quintessential summer experience that is reminiscent of summers on the French or Italian Rivieras, but much closer to home.”
The Costa Palmas Marina, which is the first-ever private superyacht marina in Los Cabos, is available for Costa Palmas homeowners and Four Seasons guests. Conveniently located within the Resort community, the marina offers a wide array of maritime adventure to explore the majestic Sea of Cortez, which famed oceanographer Jacques Cousteau referred to as “the aquarium of the world.” From multiple fishing excursions to some of the best scuba diving or snorkelling in the world at UNESCO World Heritage Marine Site Cabo Pulmo, and tequila-soaked sunset cruises where vibrant hues paint the sky, no summer on the Riviera is complete without a boating expedition.
There are 13 dynamic dining and drink experiences within the sprawling, 1,500-acre (607 hectare) community, allowing guests to maximize every moment of their summer holiday. Now in its second season, Delphine Day Club is the most Instagrammable spot of the summer with its canary yellow umbrellas against the azure sea. Exclusively available to Resort guests and Costa Palmas members, Delphine offers a beachfront experience that epitomizes the effortless luxury of Costa Palmas. Friends can indulge in an afternoon of revelry in a chic, open-air setting that blends Chef Ludo’s signature Niçoise cuisine with Baja's abundant fresh produce against a backdrop of daily entertainment, a vibrant bar with innovative cocktails and Delphine’s refreshing seasonal spritz, sandy lounging areas with sun and shade, and exceptional service. For a truly memorable Riviera experience, champagne sabring is available upon advanced request and for special occasions. Delphine is open Thursday to Sunday, from 12:00 noon to 8:30 pm, and is accessible by complimentary water taxi or luxury vehicle transfer.
Daily water taxi service from the Resort also transports guests to the vibrant Marina Village, just five minutes away, which features Mozza Baja at Costa Palmas; Chiki, the East Cape’s first nightclub and lounge and designed by Martin Brudnizki; and Casena, a locally-inspired cafe and boutique offering a hand-selected collection of home goods, artisanal goods and pantry staples, as well as coffee roasted by Coffee Lab Baja. Within the Resort, guests may enjoy many additional restaurants and lounges including estiatorio Milos; farm-to-table al fresco dining amid a lemon grove at Limon; Baja-style brasserie Casa de Brasa; and cevicheria and sushi bar El Puesto.
For dinner, guests can enjoy the Resort’s newest dining concept, Zest, which is the smallest fine-dining restaurant in Los Cabos. Offering just one seating per night for up to 12 guests, Zest presents a meticulously crafted nine-course seasonal tasting menu. The Resort also offers exquisite private dining options and 24/7 in-room dining.
In addition, guests will also enjoy seven different pools, the Robert Trent Jones II-designed Costa Palmas Golf Club, fitness facilities and classes, racquet courts, and the award-winning Oasis Spa and Wellness Center, which features innovative massages, body treatments and facials, in addition to manicures, pedicures, and a full-service salon by the world’s maestro of hair, Rossano Ferretti.
