Four Seasons Hotel Megève Introduces "A Night Above the Clouds," a Mountainside Experience Inspired by Hit TV Series Emily in Paris

Four Seasons Hotel Megève is unveiling its new A Night Above the Clouds offer, which captures the essence of the Alps inspired by an iconic scene from Season 4 of the hit series Emily in Paris. In the episode,  charmed by the authentic allure of Megève, Emily enjoys a drink on the terrace of Idéal 1850 restaurant overlooking stunning views of Mont Blanc and taking a picturesque carriage ride through the village’s quaint streets.

A Night Above the Clouds invites couples to experience the same enchanting moments and discover the romance and elegance of this alpine haven. Located in the heart of the French Alps, Megève is renowned for its timeless elegance and charm. The village, which gained international acclaim in the 1950s and 1960s, has attracted glamorous figures such as Audrey Hepburn and other cinema and fashion legends. With its cobblestone streets, charming chalets and breathtaking landscapes, Megève remains a refined and picturesque retreat for those seeking a discreet mountain escape and romantic experiences.

Just minutes away by cable car from Four Seasons Hotel Megève, at an altitude of 1,850 metres (6,070 feet), lies Idéal 1850. The building, acquired in the 1960s, has kept the soul of an authentic mountain pasture, with a touch of modernity. Boasting spectacular views of Megève and its snow-blanketed valley, the restaurant offers a gourmet version of local Savoyard cuisine.

The building’s upper floor houses the Suite Idéal, Megève’s most private retreat. Spanning 140 square metres (1,500 square feet), this suite harmoniously combines traditional Alpine architecture with modern touches, featuring wooden motifs and exposed beams. The walls are adorned with curated artworks and the suite’s awe-inspiring vistas of Mont Blanc and the Aravis Range enhance the extraordinary setting.

In this exquisite environment, the A Night Above the Clouds package offers a magical one-night escape in the Suite Idéal. Starting at 3:00 pm, guests will embark on a ski lift ride, accompanied by a personal attendant. Upon arrival, a bottle of Champagne awaits to toast as the sun sets over Mont Blanc. A dinner featuring Savoyard specialties, paired with French wines selected by sommelier Samy Sbiti, completes the evening. The following morning, guests will have the unique privilege of being the first to ski on freshly fallen powder.
