Garden of Flavour: NIWA x Laurent-Perrier Debuts at Four Seasons Napa Valley

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley introduces NIWA x Laurent-Perrier, a new seasonal pop-up open May through October 2025.

Set within the Resort’s alfresco demo kitchen, NIWA comes to life in a garden-inspired lounge cradled by vineyards and overlooking the Palisades Mountains, making it an idyllic setting for golden-hour gatherings and warm summer evenings in Calistoga.

Inspired by the Japanese word for “garden,” NIWA is a seasonal culinary concept created in collaboration with Champagne Laurent-Perrier. The menu highlights Nikkei cuisine, a bold fusion of Japanese technique and Peruvian flavours, through small plates designed for sharing and pairing. Created by Executive Resort Chef Shaun Acosta, a Northern California native and longtime Four Seasons chef, the dishes are seasonal and expressive, grounded in his West Coast roots and shaped by global inspiration. Highlights include Tuna Poke Tostada with chili aioli and crispy onions, Miso Cod with ume purée, and Wagyu Tataki with truffle ponzu and jalapeños.

The drink list features three signature cuvées from the House of Laurent-Perrier: Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature, Cuvée Rosé, and Grand Siècle Iteration No 26. Premium sake and playful Nikkei-inspired cocktails round out the experience, including the She-So Highball with Roku Gin, shiso and yuzu soda, and Whispers of Nikkei, a layered blend of Toki Whisky, sake vermouth, toasted sesame and chamomile.

NIWA is open Thursday through Saturday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, with live music on select evenings. Come sunset, the terrace buzzes with conversation, clinking glasses and Champagne sparkle. With its open-air design, lounge-style seating and signature Calistoga ease, NIWA is the place to be and be seen this summer in Napa Valley. Reservations are available via OpenTable.
