Mimo Restaurant and Bar, the celebrated downtown Italian restaurant located at Four Seasons Hotel Nashville, launched an inventive new cocktail menu under the leadership of lauded new Beverage Manager Alexandre Renoue.

Designed by the talented team of bartenders and mixologists at Mimo Bar, the new cocktail menu, which features craft cocktails, a spin on beloved classics, and non-alcoholic offerings, incorporates premium spirits, unique mixology techniques, and original garnishes for beverages that are a feast for the senses. Each cocktail, named after fan favourite rock and roll and country music songs, boasts its own distinct flavour profile, the drinks also feature an edible garnish prepared with a different technique, ranging from ice cream cornets to boozy lollipops to candied cherries.

A sure-to-be crowd favourite on the hand-crafted cocktail list, The Sun to Me is a fluorescent green cocktail made with Altamura, an Italian vodka, blended with Japanese and honeydew melons, fresh green apple and Manzanilla Sherry wine. The colourful cocktail is topped with a Japanese melon liqueur lollipop. For whiskey lovers, the Holy Smokes is a masterful blend of Michter's Whiskey, oranges, bitters and cinnamon that is flambéed and served in a metal flask for the guest to serve themselves. In addition to the assortment of hand-crafted cocktails, the new menu also includes House Classics, including a Michter’s Barrel-Aged Old Fashioned, the Millionaire Habanero Margarita, and Red Velvet Manhattan.

The cocktails aren’t the only place where the team’s creativity shines. For the selection of clever non-alcoholic options, Mimo’s team of mixologists created their own zero-proof takes on tequila, gin and vermouth. The zero proof beverage options include a Guilt Free Negroni, a Sober Spicy Margarita, and more.

“We wanted to create a cocktail menu that reflects the liveliness of Mimo Bar and the creativity and talent of the team,” said Renoue. “We had a lot of fun collaborating on this menu and can’t wait for our guests to sample new and unique flavours, blended and presented in captivating ways. There’s something for everyone on this menu, from sophisticated classics to playful originals. We encourage our guests to bring their curiosity to the bar and expect the unexpected.”  

A native of Corsica, France, Renoue joined the dynamic food and beverage team at Four Seasons Hotel Nashville earlier this year from Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai. Passionate about mixology, Renoue’s vast hospitality experience – which includes stints in London, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Dubai – influences his creative cocktail methodology, with global flair and flavours incorporated into his signature drinks.
