Gaman Guadagni is a most welcome addition to Four Seasons Resort Nevis. A dynamic leader who has travelled all over the world, Gaman brings a track record of success guiding all aspects of property management for large-scale global organizations.
“I am a believer in being a supporter,” he says. “It’s all about development and how to teach. I put an emphasis on teaching and encouraging everyone to be the best they can. That’s where I find success in my teams so they can thrive.”
As Resort Manager for Four Seasons Resort Nevis, Gaman champions employee and guest engagement, oversees business operations and manages Resort performance. A trusted steward of Four Seasons standards, he ensures the team in Nevis is executing brand standards in a consistent way, while taking care of one another and all who visit.
Gaman’s hospitality career began in the rooms division at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale in 2003. From there, his role and responsibilities increased as he advanced to Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta and Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village in a task force placement.
Following 10 years and several management positions with Four Seasons, Gaman joined Caesars Entertainment in 2013. As the director of hotel operations at Harrah's Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, he oversaw business and hotel operations.
“A career highlight for me was having my fingerprint on the extensive renovation of the 3,500-room Harrah's, which started back in 2014. The goal of the USD 140 million renovation was to futureproof the Harrah’s brand, and we created a product that bridged the gap between the baby boomers and the millennials. I also oversaw a creative design competition, which became a template of all future renovations and future room product for the Harrah’s enterprise.”
Gaman later moved over to Caesars Palace where he had two roles: general manager of Nobu Hotel, which at the time was at the beginning phase of their global expansion, and vice president of luxury hotel operations of Caesars Palace, where he “executed the consistent delivery of service to the ultra-high-end gaming customer.”
In 2017, Gaman further expanded his professional portfolio working with Aramark as vice president of operations for Yosemite Hospitality. There he managed all assets for the National Park. His success with Aramark led him to private equity, KSL Resorts, where he served as vice president of operations for Camelback Resort from 2020-2021.
Priding himself as a “team champion,” Gaman takes a hands-on approach to his leadership roles. He is passionate about mentoring teams using his diverse skillset.
Prior to joining Four Seasons Resort Nevis, Gaman was the Hotel Manager for Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis. He also has Caribbean experience from his time as Resort Manager for The Ocean Club, a Four Seasons property in the Bahamas. At both properties, Gaman was responsible for property and business management. Ensuring daily operations aligned with business goals, his track record of success includes driving customer-centric solutions, process improvements, competitive advantage, business growth and customer retention.
While Gaman has two decades of hospitality experience, he also has a breadth of education with an MBA from Arizona State University alongside a Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Political Science and Sociology, both from Lakehead University in Canada. His exceptional and vast experience lead him to being awarded the Aramark Star of Excellence Award in 2018 and Poets & Quants Best MBA Listing in 2016.
An expert in directing and managing highly motivated teams, Gaman is renowned for being highly personable and an excellent communicator. With three different citizenships of Italy, Canada and the US, Gaman also speaks five languages including English, Italian, Spanish, Arabic and Somali, making him an incredibly valued addition to Four Seasons Resort Nevis.
When he’s not working, Gaman enjoys outdoor activities with his wife, Laurie, and their children Safia, Alex and Bria. Born in Mogadishu, Somalia, he grew up in Trieste, Italy, and now goes back to Trieste each year to visit family.
