Signature seasonal experiences include:

Mardi Gras Like a Local - Avoid the crowds and experience Mardi Gras like an insider. This curated experience is available only to guests of Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans and includes front-row parade viewing from the private viewing stand at Herbsaint, a coveted dining reservation, a signature king cake delivered to one’s room, and personalized guidance from the Hotel’s dedicated Four Seasons Carnival Concierge.

2026 King Cake Flavour Revealed - Four Seasons announces the return of its Signature king cake and the limited-edition Black and Gold king cake, a chocolate-glazed brioche with house-made blood orange jam and finished with festive gold accents. Available to guests for in-room delivery and to the public via OpenTable.

Mardi Gras Glow Spa Experience - Escape the excitement of the city and unwind at The Spa with a treatment designed to restore radiance and recharge the body. The 150-minute experience includes a 90-minute Blissful Body Ritual and a 60-minute collagen facial, perfect for reviving tired feet and unveiling a parade-ready glow.

Parade Provisions To-Go - For those heading to the parade route, Miss River offers gourmet to-go totes filled with heirloom cornbread, muffuletta, red beans and rice, pimento grilled cheese, chips, pralines, and bottled water for the route. Designed to feed four and packaged for convenience, Parade Provisions must be ordered 24 hours in advance via OpenTable.

Krewe of Cocktails - A Mardi Gras tradition returns with the Krewe of Cocktails at Chandelier Bar, Miss River, and Chemin à la Mer. Parade from bar to bar with seasonal, Mardi Gras-inspired cocktails, such as the purple-hued Mardi Gras Mambo, the zombie-style Rex made with Ojen, and the easy to crush Masquerade. Complete the crawl and enjoy a little lagniappe — a miniature Four Seasons Signature king cake.

Parade-Perfect Lunches for the Krewe - Ideal for parties, both signature restaurants will offer special Carnival lunch menus. At Miss River, guests are welcomed with a spritz before diving into a family-style feast of seasonal gumbo, jambalaya, shrimp po-boys, fried chicken, and more. At Chemin à la Mer, the “feed me”–style menu invites the table to sip and savour Crab Boulettes, Shrimp Raphael, Baked Brie or Feta, Black Drum with eggplant rice and blue crab, Sliced Skirt Steak with bordelaise, and Petite Fours for dessert. Both menus are ideal for lively gatherings and midday toasts with one’s krewe.

With more than 75 parades and countless ways to celebrate, Mardi Gras in New Orleans is a cultural experience unlike any other, and Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans offers the ideal access point. Guests can elevate their stay with the Hotel’s Experience More offer, which includes up to USD 250 in dining credit for indulging in festive lunches, celebratory cocktails, or a sweet slice of king cake after the parades.
