Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown Announces the Return of the “Giving Tree” in Celebration of World Kindness Day, Benefitting The Bowery Mission

Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown announces the return of its beloved “Giving Tree” initiative, a meaningful campaign celebrating World Kindness Day and the spirit of the season. Beginning on World Kindness Day, November 13, 2025, and continuing through Thanksgiving, the Hotel will once again transform its entrance into a breathtaking tribute to generosity, inviting guests and visitors alike to take part in an uplifting act of kindness benefiting The Bowery Mission, one of New York City’s leading nonprofit organizations dedicated to helping individuals overcome homelessness and poverty.

Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed by a stunning tree of natural branches, artfully designed by bespoke florists Elan Flowers, standing as the centrepiece of the Hotel’s lobby. Beside it, a basket of leaves will await. Each leaf represents a donation to The Bowery Mission, an organization serving New Yorkers in need since 1879, providing essential services such as meals, shelter, and compassionate care. Guests will scan a QR code to make a donation directly, and in return, they will receive a leaf to write their name on. This leaf will then be hung on the tree branches as a symbol of their generosity, with the goal of creating a lush tree representing collective giving.

The initiative launches in harmony with the Golden Rule that has been at the core of the Four Seasons brand since the company’s founding, honouring the timeless values of care, kindness, and empathy that unite the global portfolio.
