Three Pools including Newly Enhanced Versailles Pool
Beyond the glimmering ocean waters, The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort features three heated pools, including the oceanfront infinity-edge Ocean Pool, the adult-only Versailles Pool, and the tropical Family Lagoon Pool. There is ample space to splash and play or simply lounge in the serenity of the balmy, breezy air.
The Versailles Pool, captured by renowned photographer Slim Aarons in the 1960s, showcasing the glamorous vacation lifestyle, is a favourite spot for adults to unwind and take in the scenic beauty of the surroundings. Tropical plants, towering palm trees and the terraced, manicured Versailles Gardens are the beautiful background. The Versailles Pool has a brand-new look for spring, with new colourful chaise lounges and coordinating parasols dotting the pool in a bright, cherry red colour. The pop of red amidst the green foliage and aqua pool make a statement, and the perfect backdrop for one’s Instagram snaps.
Kids For All Seasons Makes a Splash
While parents and caretakers are enjoying relaxation by the pools or at The Spa, kids ages 4 to 12 are entertained at the Resort’s complimentary Kids for All Seasons day camp, offered daily. The Kids For All Seasons club recently debuted a bright and cheery underwater sea life wall mural, with sea life animal mascots that are featured on a welcome backpack given to children upon arrival. Guestrooms, Suites and Villa Residences
The Crescent Wing’s guestrooms and suites all have an ocean view, and design that was inspired by a theme of classic island elegance, with a natural colour palette and island-inspired décor. In hues of aqua, grey, taupe and gold, the rooms reflect a Bahamian chic concept, with elegant touches such as gold bamboo-framed mirrors, and deep-soaking bathtubs surrounded by a custom curved wall mosaic, tiled in coordinating hues of gold, ivory and aqua. Walking into the rooms and suites, the light tile floor colour was inspired by soft Bahamian sand. The spacious suites offer a separate living room and bedroom, a powder room, plus a full bath including an oversize glass shower and jetted deep-soaking tub. Furniture pieces include curved silhouettes and accents reminiscent of the undulating ocean waves, just steps away. Guestrooms and suites offer a private terrace or balcony, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and beautifully maintained verdant lawn, where hammocks between palms and white Adirondack chairs invite one to take a break and enjoy the tranquil setting. Garden level guestroom terraces have been updated to include a large plush daybed, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
King rooms have been updated to include a queen-size sofa sleeper, accommodating a maximum occupancy of four guests. Select guestrooms have two beds and have outer-connecting capabilities to either an Oceanfront Room with a king bed or an Oceanfront King Suite, ideal for families. The Resort also offers multi-bedroom villa residences, each with its own infinity pool overlooking the ocean.
