Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, named the #1 Best Hotel and Best Resort in Walt Disney World by U.S. News & World Report, announces its participation in a new collaboration between Four Seasons and Lucid Group, Inc., maker of the world’s most advanced electric vehicles.

United by a shared commitment to sustainability, the collaboration underscores both companies' commitment to environmental stewardship and responds to a growing demand for added flexibility and unique, eco-friendly experiences for guests during their stay.

Program elements include the following offerings at Four Seasons Resort Orlando:

• Complimentary driving experience – Based on availability and offered complimentary to registered resort guests, the award-winning Lucid Air can be reserved for guests’ own use. The Resort's Concierge team will be able to provide suggested routes showcasing Orlando and the surrounding area.
• Electric charging stations – Lucid is equipping the Resort with electric vehicle chargers, compatible with all EVs, allowing both guests and locals to charge their vehicles with ease. With the addition of the Lucid chargers, the Resort now offers 14 electric vehicle chargers.

Scenic Spins through Orlando

Guests who check out a Lucid vehicle can enjoy driving to nearby Disney Springs for shopping and entertainment. For those seeking more of a scenic drive, the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive is a one-way drive that takes anywhere from one to three hours and goes through an area of wetlands, with abundant wildlife viewing opportunities. Nearby, the Tibet-Butler Preserve is an easy drive, featuring trails to walk around and explore. Approximately 45-minutes to one-hour drive away, guests can drive to Rainbow Springs and board a glass-bottom kayak, paddling through the beautiful waters and keeping a lookout for turtles, fish, and even otters. The Concierge team is able to provide recommendations on scenic drives and experiences.

Sustainability at Four Seasons Orlando

Sustainability has always been of utmost importance to Four Seasons. Recently, Four Seasons Orlando was recognized with the EarthCheck Silver certification. To achieve and maintain this status, the Resort must be independently audited yearly and meet the requirements of the EarthCheck Certified Standard. Some of the Resort’s sustainability initiatives include a water conservation program, recycling, electric vehicle chargers, wildlife habitat programs in place, local food sourcing, and more. Four Seasons Resort Orlando has been a Clean the World Partner since 2017, donating more than 461,000 bars of soap, 200,000 pounds of plastic and 186,000 pounds of cardboard to the unique program.

Additionally, the Resort has a relatively new beekeeping program, producing honey on-site that is used in its restaurants, as well as The Spa’s signature Healing Honey treatment. Locally sourced produce is prioritized, and the culinary team maintains an herb garden at Ravello for fresh herbs including basil, rosemary and thyme. Local purveyors are used whenever possible, including two from nearby Clermont, Florida: Le Koope Farms, which provides eggs to Capa, and Sugar Top Farms for microgreens.
