Four Seasons Resort Orlando Raises More Than USD 1,235,000 For Pediatric Cancer Research and Care for AdventHealth for Children
Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort hosted the 4th annual Four Seasons Orlando Invitational on October 15 and 16, 2026 benefiting AdventHealth for Children, raising USD 1,235,000 to support the development of the first Adolescent and Young Adult Program at AdventHealth for Children. This new initiative is designed to bridge the gap between pediatric and adult healthcare systems during a pivotal stage of life.
“We are honoured to collaborate with AdventHealth for Children for the second year in a row, and proud to have raised such a significant donation, thanks to the generosity of the event attendees,” says Ali Mohammed, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Orlando. “I would like to thank our dedicated team for their hard work in bringing this successful event to life. We are extremely proud that these funds will make a true difference in the lives of adolescents and young adults as they navigate the complexities of cancer care with improved patient care coordination, enhanced emotional support, long term survivorship resources, and so much more.”
The sold-out two-day charity event paired golf foursomes with 28 celebrities, including musicians, actors and former professional athletes, and featured a live music performance by country music singer and songwriter Adam Hambrick, alongside silent and live auctions. A highlight of the live auction was a rare opportunity for the winning bidder and six guests to be among the first to experience Monstropolis, the new land inspired by Disney and Pixar’s beloved movie Monsters, Inc. at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, when it opens in 2027. The three-night experience also includes Disney VIP Tours, theme park tickets, time with a Walt Disney World Imagineer, and special dining and character experiences.
The unique auction items also included a PNC Championship Pro-Am Experience; numerous Four Seasons hotels and resorts getaways, many tied to exclusive experiences with professional sporting events; a golf tour package in Scotland with access to legendary golf courses; an original Disney painting created by Disney Fine Artist Dom Corona; and other special items from in-kind donors. Numerous signed sports collector memorabilia, perfect for the avid sports fan, were also available to bid on.
Funds raised from this year’s signature golf event will support a growing population of patients: adolescents and young adults navigating cancer and other complex pediatric conditions that continue into adulthood. Advances in pediatric medicine have helped more children survive cancer and other serious illnesses than ever before. Yet, as these patients enter adolescence and young adulthood, many face a new challenge: transitioning from pediatric care into adult healthcare environments that may not be designed around their unique developmental, emotional, and medical needs. This new offering will become the first comprehensive adolescent and young adult cancer program in Central Florida, designed to address these challenges through specialized care coordination, navigation, and long-term support tailored specifically to adolescents and young adults.
Over the past four years, the Four Seasons Orlando Invitational has raised more than USD 4.1 million for pediatric healthcare, including support for AdventHealth for Children and Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida. The Invitational reflects the broader Four Seasons for Good commitment to creating meaningful impact in the communities where Four Seasons operates, including a decades-long global commitment to advancing cancer research and care.
