Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi has been honoured with three Michelin keys for the second consecutive year, affirming its position as one of the world’s most remarkable hotels. Announced by the Michelin Guide on October 8, 2025, the distinction places the Hotel among an elite circle — one of just seven properties in Japan and one of 143 worldwide to receive the top-tier rating.

Akin to its legendary restaurant stars, the Michelin keys were introduced globally in 2024 to recognise hotels that offer truly extraordinary experiences. Each property in Michelin’s 7,000-plus global selection is already exceptional; the keys distinguish those that stand at the very pinnacle. Three keys signify one of the world’s most remarkable and extraordinary hotels, awarded after evaluation across design, architecture, service consistency, personality, value, and the ability to elevate each guest’s sense of place.

“It is a privilege to once again be part of this outstanding global community of hotels,” says Uday Rao, Regional Vice President and General Manager. “We wish to extend our sincere appreciation to the Michelin Guide team for this recognition, as well as to all our partners and supporters who continue to stand by our hotel. This honour is also a testament to the devotion and tireless efforts of our entire team, to whom I express my heartfelt gratitude. We remain committed to upholding the standards worthy of this distinction and to providing our guests with truly exceptional and memorable experiences.”

Perched high above the capital’s skyline, Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi brings together the energy of a modern metropolis with the quiet refinement of Japanese artistry. Inside, world-class design by Jean-Michel Gathy meets a collection of contemporary art and locally inspired details, while panoramic views of Mount Fuji, the Imperial Palace Gardens, and Tokyo’s shimmering skyline set the stage for a stay both cinematic and serene.

Creativity flows through every corner, from Michelin-starred est, where French technique meets sustainable Japanese produce, to VIRTÙ, ranked #45 on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025, where cocktails reimagine Parisian and Japanese fables. At PIGNETO, an open-air rooftop terrace channels Italy’s dolce vita with its sunset aperitivo ritual.

In a global landscape that now spans nearly 100 countries, where Michelin inspectors recognise everything from desert tents to glass-walled forest lodges, Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi stands proudly among the most exceptional city hotels on Earth — a place where bold design, heartfelt service, and a sense of Tokyo’s soul come together in perfect harmony.
