Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Executive Chef Victor Rosado discovered his passion for cooking at a young age while learning family recipes passed down through generations in his grandparents’ kitchen. His early connection to the island’s flavours and traditions laid the foundation for a culinary career defined by technic, creativity, and cultural pride.

Rosado pursued a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts at Universidad del Este (now Sistema Universitario Ana G. Méndez), where he competed in national culinary competitions and earned multiple awards. Early in his career, he gained experience across luxury hospitality and fine-dining environments in Puerto Rico and the mainland United States, developing a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and service excellence. Throughout his professional journey, Rosado worked alongside some of the world’s most respected chefs, including Jean‑Georges Vongerichten and José Andrés and collaborated with Eric Ripert, Anthony Bourdain, Dominique Crenn, Daniel Humm, and Emeril Lagasse.

He also helped lead a restaurant recognized with a James Beard Foundation nomination for Best New Restaurant, named One of the Best Caribbean Restaurant 2015 by Caribbean Journal, and featured on The Daily Meal lists including the 101 Best Hotel Restaurants in the World and Best Restaurants in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Rosado has participated in major culinary festivals across the Caribbean and the United States and has collaborated with Michelin‑starred chefs on high‑profile industry events. He was featured in StarChefs magazine’s Rising Stars program and played a key role in bringing the Estrella Damm Culinary Congress 2025 to Miami, hosting Chef Eduard Xatruch of Disfrutar, named World’s Best Restaurant 2024 by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

A passionate advocate for Puerto Rican cuisine, Rosado has dedicated his career to honouring his heritage through elevated technique and innovative flavours combinations. His cooking is inspired by the island’s natural bounty, traditional dishes, and the warmth of his upbringing, often incorporating wood‑fired and contemporary preparations.

Now returning to Bahía Beach as Executive Chef of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico, Rosado leads the resort’s culinary program, overseeing all dining experiences for guests and residents. His vision blends authenticity, precision, and a deep sense of place, creating cuisine that connects nature, culture, and community through every plate.
